The setting is magnificent and the recent rehabilitation fits perfectly into the medieval castle. A service a little below par lacking a little professionalism. In any case a very great table to discover absolutely.

However I think on the night we visited they must have been short staffed as the service was very slow. Hopefully this was a 'one off' and it would not stop us from returning.

TheForkUserVery interesting concept! This “eatery” is situated in a quaint village and has an interesting concept to meals. The tables are all set low, like a cocktail bar. The ordering process is via a tablet (translated in English if needed) which shows all of the options and prices. The wine list is good, and the food options are good. The main dishes are served in glass jars and heated via a microwave…sounds bad, but the food is great! The food is prepared ahead of time, cooked and stored in glass jars., so it just needs to be warmed up sufficiently. We started with the Hot Camembert with baguettes. For our main dishes, we had the Chili Con Carne, and my husband had the Confit Pork and Chorizo stew. For dessert we had the Flowing Chocolate Heart. All of our food was very good and the ordering and paying process was quick and easy! Such a different concept, must try!

TheForkUserThe setting is very welcoming; we ate in the courtyard under a beautiful sun. The food was exceptional and each dish an explosion of flavors! Congratulations again to the Chef! The staff is attentive, good advice (thank you to the sommelier) and we did not have to wait, neither for taking the order nor between the dishes, which flowed perfectly. The only downside is the noise of the jacuzzi (and the people who were in it and talking loudly to understand each other), as well as the pool pump; and I found it quite inappropriate that someone was using the high-pressure cleaner on the tiles around the pool while lunch was being served! Apart from this false note in terms of respecting the peace and quiet during this moment of tasting, I recommend this restaurant.
