Invisible Wind
Located in a tree-lined park in the center of #Tashkent in #Uzbekistan, right next to the National Museum of History of Uzbekistan and the Central Exhibition Hall of Academy of Arts, Golubie Kupola Blue Dome Restaurant has long attracted Tashkent residents to take photos in front of its fountains, columns and domes. Originally a cafe, the restaurant opened in 1970 to coincide with the 100th anniversary of Lenin's birth. It combines features of modernist design with elements inspired by the turquoise domes of Samarkand. It is designed like a traditional Uzbek teahouse, with reflections in the ornamental pools surrounding the building. The cafe's heyday is long gone and those pools are now empty, but it remains a beloved nostalgic landmark. Specialties include grilled lamb chops, lamb kebabs, naan grilled fish, steamed dumplings, baked buns, pulled noodles, couscous salad, grape cherry marshmallows, etc. #Local only food #Soviet aesthetics

仏谶
This mutton soup is called Шурпа, which is transliterated as Shulba, which seems to be a translation from Persian. The dictionary definition is mutton soup. It is a clear soup made with tender mutton, potatoes and carrots, with shallots and fennel. The first bite of this soup knocked me down, not greasy or smelly, and it was endless aftertaste. The taste of fennel quickly filled my mouth and nose, the mutton was stewed very well, the potatoes were soft but not loose, and the carrots melted in my mouth. My companion and I couldn't help but laugh out loud, it was so enjoyable.

轻风apex
A famous local restaurant with a band performance. The area at the entrance feels a little cooler than inside. The skewers are well grilled, much bigger than the meat in China. One of the special dishes is big potatoes and bigger lamb, which tastes good, but it was served late and no one could eat it.

lenka
The largest pilaf center in Asia. The passenger flow from 12:00 to 15:00 every day reaches 3,000 people. After a meal, several large pots outside are all wiped out. For Uzbek people, pilaf has become a supreme delicacy. The so-called pilaf is to mix rice, vegetables, and meat together and soak them in mutton fat and oil. If you want to eat pilaf, it is best to arrive at this central pilaf center before noon, but it is best to avoid Thursday because there are the most people. But if you just want to watch the scene of locals gathering together to eat pilaf, you must go on Thursday. In addition, Uzbek men love pilaf so much because they believe that the oil soup at the bottom of the pot can enhance virility.
