A very enjoyable and comfortable experience. I have eaten there many times and the different people I have taken there share the same opinion.

Fantastic log fire lit during the winter. Highly recommend this pub for great food at a reasonable price, all served with a smile.

TheForkUserVisited the Spyglass for my birthday meal. Our server, Terry, was just the right person for the job. Very friendly willing to have a joke and very pleasant. We arrived at 18.00 and all was well, then at 18.30 a party of 16 arrived and from then on service was slowed dramatically. Terry was also had a lot of tables of 4 or 6 to serve. He did his very best but he was obviously slowed by this big party, so our meal took longer than it should have. He was very proffessional and just dealt with everyone methodically and calmly. Full marks to him for a great job.
