TheForkUserWe visited this restaurant earlier evening so it was quiet. The welcome was friendly and after a drink we were shown to our table in the very cute dining room. The man who waited on us was very friendly and helpful assisting us with the menu.. The food was very well presented and cooked perfectly and very tasty. We had a very positive experience here and would recommend.

TheForkUserThe setting is beautiful with a Mountain View. The restaurant itself has a charming interior. We had tbe 9 course vegetarian menu for one and the a regular 9 course menu too. All the food was prepared and seasoned to perfection. The staff were very friendly and informative and a each course arrived at a good pace.

TheForkUserWe went for a family celebration and the place is incredible. There weren't many starters to share between the 11 of us there, but what we got was delicious. The main course and dessert were also very good. I appreciate the detail they had, they brought us an appetizer at the beginning and before the dessert a mojito sorbet, when they realized that 3 of the kids were adults, they quickly brought us three more sorbets. The service was exceptional at all times.

TheForkUserSmall but well laid out restaurant. We only brought one phone with us that night so had a bit of difficulty viewing the paperless menu, & were not offered any help. But otherwise, chose from a la carte, very good food, but would have preferred to make my pudding choice after the main course - you had to choose it all at the beginning. Gorgonzola cheese cake was fabulous.

TheForkUserAll the staff were very attentive! My wife was pregnant and they went out of their way to make sure she had food she could eat. The food was great, the views were great, and I'd certainly recommend coming here for a visit if you're staying in Bilbao. Easy trip by metro. Thanks guys

TheForkUserThe service was excellent and the food was delicious. I have to highlight the Japanese curry pork cheeks that I ordered, which, despite being a bit lacking in salt, was amazing. On the other hand, the waiters were very attentive and very pleasant. The restaurant itself is a very quiet and spacious place. In short, an ideal place to go out for a "casual" dinner. I will go back.

TheForkUserBeautiful restaurant in a charming town, I expected it to be a good restaurant but didn’t expect it to be as excellent as it was. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the scenery was spectacular. If you’re in Basque Country, this is a place you must go!!

For 6 degustation menus it could have been of advantage to propose a glass of local wine well suited with each plate, instead of a basic choice between one red or white bottle of wine. If joining with electric car, ask the front desk to switch on the car chargers first!

19. Taberna El Ingles

TheForkUserAlthough there was some confusion with the reservation when we arrived, they couldn't find it and in the end it was resolved and we ate very well. We shared the starters, which were very tasty, with a good suggestion from the waitress: salad with tuna belly, scrambled eggs with mushrooms and a platter of Iberian cured meats. As for the main course, the duck confit, turbot and entrecote were excellent. And the desserts were very tasty.
