没有蜡ollingA restaurant that is very popular among Zurich locals, located on the square of the Frauenkirche (Münsterhof), has a history of more than 700 years. This was once the home of the private doctor of the Frauenkirche convent. Later, he sold the building to the Linen Weavers Guild, one of the seven oldest guilds in Zurich. Today, some weaving scenes can still be seen on the stained glass windows of the restaurant. The owner of the restaurant, Sepp Wimmer, took me to visit each floor. The dense badges on the wall were the symbols of the guild members. The left side was the time when the company was founded, and the back was the time when he joined the guild. The fountain on the square is also his magic for holding events: "I can make the fountain spray out fine wine and fill the entire pool." I still ordered my favorite Zurich veal (Zürcher Geschnetzeltes). Unlike many other restaurants that are used to slicing or shredding beef, the beef in this restaurant is cut into large pieces, the meat is more tender, and the potato cakes are thicker. In addition, pan-fried duck liver with cherry port wine sauce is also a specialty here.

yoyocakeThis is a restaurant affiliated with the Marriott Hotel, specializing in Swiss cuisine. The service of a restaurant under a five-star hotel is of course impeccable. The fat middle-aged uncle at the door always showed us a "mysterious smile" every time he saw us. This was the most standard smiling service during our trip to Switzerland. When ordering, we were not sure which white wine tasted better. The waitress selected wine for us to taste again and again, and finally made us embarrassed. The decoration of the entire restaurant is very unique. In the center of the restaurant, there is also a cable car cabin with some models of Swiss specialty foods. You can tell at a glance that they are made in Switzerland. As for the dishes, they all tasted good, but I can't remember the names. We ordered three dishes, two of which we had ordered before. They were all special Swiss dishes recommended by the waiter. To explain these dishes in a popular way, they are beef potato cakes and grandma's stewed beef. Only my husband tried something new and ordered a sausage and mashed potatoes. The taste was also very recommended. I recommend it.
