Overall the meal was good despite the former comments. Regrettably, the ambience was spoiled by some very noisy children but the service and staff were courteous and polite.

TheForkUserVisited Durham for a super historical weekend. Didn’t dream we would eat in such an amazing restaurant too. The food would grace any Michelin starred table. Great taste and presentation throughout the 7 course tasting menu. (We added another to the 6 😋) wines and service exceptional too.

TheForkUserThe chef's table starter buffet was amazing, we would come again just for that. We were very impressed by the standard on the non-alcoholic cocktails. The Mojito was probably the best I've ever had. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We have a lovely Sunday Lunch.
