Very good cheese. The duck is also delicious, the portion is large and filling. The place is easy to find, the food is delicious and the price is reasonable. I ordered a dish with duck, which was very appetizing. My friend ordered raw beef, which he thought was delicious. Their cheese is a specialty. The owner is friendly.

We were very excited to eat at Itta Bena while in Memphis. We found the "hidden" staircase that takes you up to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is lovely. We had a table by the window and loved overlooking the people walking on the street below. Our server was very nice and the live music was a wonderful touch. The only problem was the food was disappointing. I had the salmon which was fair at best. My husband had the shrimp and grits and he said he has had much better. We will not be going back. Our bill was over $100 and the meal was not worth it at all. The atmosphere is worth it but the most important thing is the food itself.

We were in Memphis visiting our grandson. He knew we wanted BBQ one night. He suggested this place and it is the best BBQ place in town and we were very happy with it. It was so busy that you had to find a seat before ordering. I had the dry BBQ ribs, my wife had the fresh ribs, and my grandson had the wings and nachos. I also had the sweet tea and the banana pudding which was amazing. I recommend this place.
