One day, I went to other villages with the owner of the homestay to go to the market, and then took him to this popular restaurant in Xinjie Town for lunch. The restaurant is quite large, the environment is decent, the dishes are relatively rich, and there are many varieties of green leafy vegetables. The signature dish of the restaurant is pig's trotters. I ordered the taro stems and the bitter melon fried eggs that I had never seen before in my life. In addition, on the recommendation of the homestay staff, I bought the only signature clear soup beef in the restaurant at the Dorazol Restaurant two doors away. It was a comfortable meal. Yuanyang's local dishes are fresh and delicious and worth trying.

水漫三楼After two days of clear weather, the Yuanyang Hani Terraces suddenly became foggy in the morning. I was in a good mood and hiked from Duoyishuxiazhai to Hani Huotang to have a Hani-style lunch. The dried yellow cattle was unexpectedly delicious, not too old or tender, not sticky, and very fragrant. The terraced fish, except for the small crucian carp, is the larger grass carp, which is thorny after all. The stir-fried eggplant is very fresh and oily. Hani dishes are generally spicy, more or less, and the scallion-flavored tofu is a clear stream, pure and refreshing. Paired with a little red rice, it is a meal that can both satisfy hunger and cravings.

水漫三楼The world heritage Yuanyang Rice Terraces Scenic Area, the core Duoyishu area, is about two kilometers away from a Hani Yunnan cuisine restaurant with simple and plain decoration. There is a room on the second floor with a complete fire pit layout, and the rest are relatively standard restaurant layouts. The taste of the terraced carp soup is a bit hard to describe. Stir-fried bacon and eggplant with beans are more traditional Yunnan cuisine styles. The classic tomato scrambled eggs are the most popular rice configuration during the trip. A few bowls of local specialty red rice are a must.

After asking about the varieties, I chose Yunnan small-grain hand-brewed coffee, hoping to taste the characteristics of Yunnan. Watching the young man making hand-brewed coffee, although skilled, his tools and equipment are not professional. While waiting for the coffee, two strong hens came to the door of the cafe and looked around carefully for a while, which is very characteristic of the ancient village. In general, the taste of this cup of hand-brewed coffee should not be much different from American coffee.
