Been coming here since they opened. Popped in on a busy Saturday, no booking. The lighting was just right&mdash;soft and warm, made everything feel easy. Food&#39;s always solid, but that evening vibe really stuck with me.

The tasting-menu food was excellent and paired beautifully with the wine flight. The staff were friendly and attentive. The sommelier, Pedro, and his assistant, Freya, were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was lovely to discuss the menu and wine with both them and the head chef!

The lunch deal was a solid choice. The fish was clearly fresh, and the local produce in the salad tasted like it. A nice, simple meal before heading out for that walk in the woods.
