TheForkUserVery friendly staff! Especially our waitress from Ethiopia. Good pizza and salads.?Sppreciated the Forks 50% discount!
TheForkUserThis was actually the best food we had in Montpellier, perfect home cooking. No joke- we had a superb meal in Ripailles the previous night, which is outstanding- go there too- but the cooking by Sabah somehow had the edge. It’s a short hike from the centre: 18 minutes from the Marché aux Fleurs, into a residential neighbourhood. Once you get there it looks like the kind of local, tourist-free restaurant you dream of frequenting when you finally actually move here. The total absence of alcohol was, briefly, a shock, but then it turns out you don’t need wine to appreciate the superb cooking, and a night off the Pic St Loup really does make you feel more joie de vivre the next day. Iced tea (peach flavoured) is a great accompaniment to the richest foie gras with french toast and fig compote, and washes down souris d’agneau (lamb shank roasted in honey and thyme?) wonderfully. Great sides included- best chips outside Brussels, or creamy risotto rice. Altogether fabulous!
_TI***cnThis restaurant offers a fantastic variety of Moroccan dishes, including a standout pastilla and couscous. The atmosphere is inviting, making it a great spot for a special evening.
_TI***zmI had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was exquisite. The atmosphere was charming, making it a great spot for a special occasion.
TheForkUserThe food was not seasoned properly for me and the crunchy stuff was stale. Overall, just okay with a frown.
TheForkUserWe had a lovely meal outside on a cool Friday evening. Service was very friendly and helpful (waiter was great in helping us choose a Languedoc wine which complimented our three meals). We three chose to just have a plat and not an entrée, and this wasn't frowned upon. We all enjoyed our dishes -- beautifully presented and equally delicious-- and then shared a special chocolate dessert that was worth waiting for (as stated in the menu). Will definitely return!
TheForkUserI had the pleasure of dining in a lovely restaurant where the food truly delighted me, just as much as the attentive service I received.
_TI***2pI was impressed by the quick service and the delicious Bolognese and Oriental pizzas. The staff was very friendly, making it a delightful experience.
TheForkUserGood food tasty, served well nice crew with a lot of parience
TheForkUserWe had a surprise menu blanc, and loved it. Each course was beautifully presented, with delicious and interesting complementary flavour combinations. The staff were very welcoming and helpful (despite my terrible French). A modern setting with a relaxed ambiance. Lovely!
TheForkUserNice little place serving tapas, but with a French twist if you know where to look. Really friendly and efficient staff, and I thought it was good value.
TheForkUserHamburgers trop bons.
_TI***nqThe location is fantastic, right in the heart of Montpellier, making it convenient for a lunch break. The set menus are well-priced and the food is always fresh and delicious.
TheForkUserA great restaurant in the old city centre of Montpellier. Food and Service were great, we had been waiting only a bit longer for the bill. The atmosphere and the inner architecture is smooth and welcoming.
TheForkUserGreat area. We sat on the terrace and watched the world go by. The food came out incredibly fast. Mango lassis we’re excellent.
TheForkUsertres bon pad thai
TheForkUserWe always go to O’Soleil when we’re in the Languedoc. The food’s great, service quick and efficient, lovely setting on the quayside at Marseillan. You need to book esp if for Sunday lunch as it’s always busy! Good menu - always go for the seafood as this is what they do best.
TheForkUserThe service team were amazing. The care they show serving the amazing food prepared by the kitchen is really lovely. You feel it is a wonderful team effort to provide a great experience for the diners.
TheForkUserNice small restaurant at a nice location! Good service. We’ll come again. It was very quiet at our time which was very nice. Not too much rush. I can recommend the 3 dishes course.
TheForkUserPerfect evening with friends kids and family
TheForkUserWhen I first arrived, I thought I’d booked a dance lesson!. This restaurant was like a breath of fresh air, very tired from traveling this was a boost. Food was excellent and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Next time I’m the area I’ll be going back!!!!
TheForkUserCous cous Fri to Sun is a real treat esp for those who cannot access this dish regularly. Plenty to eat but beautifully cooked and assembled. Take yr time, enjoy then relax
TheForkUserWe were so excited to finally find a restaurant that served high-quality, delicious sushi in Montpellier. The restaurant is beautifully designed and the service was friendly & accommodating. Love it!
TheForkUserA lovely meal - extremely filling (two courses ample!!) well cooked and presented; with attentive and welcoming service. If around that area of Montpellier worth the trip to avoid the tourist trap restaurants in the city
TheForkUserWe had a great dinner at Sicilia. The menu has lots of choices. The pizzas and veal with truffle sauce and mushrooms were so good! Prices very reasonable as well.
