I tried their seasonal kakigori. It was interesting, like ginger ale you can eat with jelly bits inside. The portion was quite generous for the price, definitely felt like a good deal for a specialty dessert. I'd get it again.

Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The food was exactly what I was hoping for from Sawamura.

Love this basement spot. Feels like stepping back in time. Their hand-drip coffee is the real deal. No bitterness at all. Pudding is perfectly firm and creamy. Just a simple, solid place.

Been coming here for years. The staff is always patient and kind, even when my Japanese is a bit rough.

The pancake was thick and fluffy, with a crisp edge. The maple syrup was real, not that thin, fake stuff. It soaked in just right. A bit more butter on top would've been perfect. That's really all I notice.

A cozy spot across from the vintage shops. The Americano was just right for a quiet afternoon. The seat was comfortable, which made the whole visit feel very relaxed. A nice, simple bite to go with it.

The coffee is always so good here, really aromatic. The staff are polite and the store is very clean. I appreciate that the seating is comfortable and spaced out nicely, it makes for a relaxed morning.

Came here to get some work done. The music was relaxing, not too loud. Plenty of power outlets available, which was a big plus. The atmosphere is calm and good for focusing. Stayed for a few hours with a coffee.

Love the variety of coffee bean options here, especially the Royal Crystal blend. The beans always taste so fresh.

Great spot for getting some work done. Plenty of space upstairs, and the WiFi held up all afternoon. The pumpkin tart was a nice treat, though I wish they had a coffee option better suited to pair with it.

Perfect spot inside Ikebukuro Station. Grabbed a coffee and a sandwich during my lunch break. Had Wi-Fi and an outlet, so I could check emails while eating. Quick and easy, exactly what I needed.

Even with the occasional wait, the shaved ice's quality and flavor make it well worth a visit, offering many unique and playful choices.

The hotcakes are a solid classic. Their house coffee pairs really well with them, and the refill deal is a nice touch.

The Kita-Senju Dog was a real treat. The savory sauce and mochi topping combo was unique. The soft-boiled egg potato salad was a good side. I had a local craft beer with it, and the pairing worked nicely. A solid, casual bite.

The seafood curry was so good! Creamy with lots of shrimp and squid. It says mild, but still had a nice kick. Perfect for sharing with friends over a long chat. The vibe was just right for that.

A decent spot on the second floor. The coffee is pretty good, but it's a shame they use paper cups.

This quiet cafe was a nice break from Akihabara's noise. Found a good spot to recharge myself and my phone. Their house-made ginger ale was surprisingly complex, a perfect match for just sitting and watching the street.

Stayed at Nippon Seinenkan and had their breakfast sandwich for four mornings straight. The portion is generous, really fills you up. For the price, it's a solid start to the day.

First time trying their cat-shaped desserts. The Mont Blanc was really nice, not too sweet at all. The éclair was cute too!

The lunch set is a nice deal. You pick a main, a dessert, and a drink, and the portions are just right.

Been coming here for years now. The pour-over is always spot on, just the way I like it. That consistency keeps me coming back. Picked up my usual bag of beans today, too.

A decent spot to work from. The wifi is reliable and there are plenty of tables. It's laptop-friendly, though they do ask you to keep visits to about 90 minutes on busy weekends. Fine for getting some things done.

The teriyaki taco rice was pretty good. The meat had a nice, slight spice and the sauce was decently sweet. The meal came with soup and coleslaw, which was fine. The roll cake for dessert was a nice finish.

Cozy little Taiwanese spot in Ginza. Had the milk tea and a pork bun. The tea was just the right level of sweet. The bun was warm and soft. It’s a quiet corner, good for a quick pause.

Had the fresh pasta with tomato and mozzarella for a late lunch. The noodles had a nice chew to them, which I like. Sauce wasn't too heavy, had a good tang. A solid, simple dish.

Great spot for catching up with friends! It's right above Ningyocho station, super easy to find. The place is way bigger than it looks from outside, with two floors. Tables are spaced out nicely so you can actually hear each other talk.

Taiyaki made fresh, so it's piping hot. The cream filling is just right—not too sweet and nicely creamy.
