Stopped by for a quick lunch and was surprised how big it is inside—lots of tables, easy to find a spot. Coffee was solid, food did the job. Staff were a bit distracted, but nothing that ruined it. Fine if you just want a chill break and watch people go by.

Stopped by for a drink and ended up staying longer than planned. The single malt selection is seriously impressive, and the whole place has that old Scottish lodge feel. Open fire was lovely on a cold evening. Ceiling decor is a nice detail too. Only downside, it got a bit busy later on, but that’s probably a good sign.

The chicken salad here is my usual order — actually tastes fresh, not like diet food. Green detox smoothie’s solid too. Staff were nice about it.

Been coming here for months now. The beer list keeps rotating but always solid, and the staff actually remember what I usually order. Good spot to just sit and play a few games.

Decent spot for a quick lunch. Chicken and dumplings were okay, nothing crazy. Place is big and chill, easy to get in and out. Don't expect much spice though.

Stopped by The Cakery for a quiet afternoon coffee. The caramel walnut cake was really good, not too sweet. Staff left me alone until I was ready to order, which I appreciated. Seats by the window are comfy enough to just sit and watch people for a while. Nice little break from running errands.

The wooden building caught my eye before I even walked in — so much light inside. Menu’s small but everything we tried worked. I had the daily fish special, cooked just right. Staff checked in without hovering. Only thing: it’s a bit pricey for the portions. Still, I’d come back for that atmosphere alone.

I had an amazing dining experience at Norda! The steak was perfectly cooked, and the staff, especially the sommelier Tiago, provided excellent wine pairings that enhanced our meal.

No. 4 of Restaurants for Views & Experiences in Oslo

The pretzels are pretty good—honestly better than some I had in Germany. Got a few other baked things too, they were decent. Prices are fair for what you get. Nice little spot.

Stopped by for dinner with a couple of friends. The cheesy meatballs were the highlight—rich, hearty, exactly what I needed. Wine list is decent but on the pricey side. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Place gets busy, so expect a bit of a wait. Would go back for those meatballs, though.

The passion fruit cupcake was light and not too sweet—buttercream was spot on. They fixed our coffee just how we asked. Cute little place.

We came here with a few friends on a random weeknight and honestly the butter chicken lived up to the hype. So creamy and rich. The place is pretty roomy too, not cramped like some spots in Oslo. Service was chill, no rush. Just wish the naan came out a bit warmer, but whatever. Solid pick if you’re craving Indian 😊

Natural wine and snacks, that's it. Cool vibe though. Small portions, bit pricey for what you get. Fine for a drink.

The spicy chicken bowl was solid. Portion size is decent for the price, especially compared to other places nearby. I got the heat level right, not too overwhelming. Staff checked if I wanted it mixed, which was nice. Would probably come back if I'm in the area again.

The duck in red curry was properly cooked, that sweet-spicy balance just works. Place felt a bit cramped but the flavors made up for it.

The shigeki steak was really good—flavorful and cooked just right. Menu felt like typical Sumo quality, nothing fancy but solid. Staff were on top of things. The bathroom floor is honestly a fun talking point, kinda unexpected. I'd come back for the steak alone.

The Diavola pizza was really good. Crisp crust, plenty of toppings, and you can taste the wood-fire smokiness. Tomato sauce had a nice depth to it. I’m picky about freshness and this felt like quality ingredients. Maybe a touch more basil would’ve been nice, but honestly I’d order it again.

The waffles with brown cheese and jam were the highlight for me. Never had that combo before, and it just worked. Coffee was solid too, maybe the best I found in Oslo. Place was busy but not chaotic. Staff actually seemed like they wanted to be there. Wish I lived closer, honestly.

Cozy spot with a nice buzz, and the cocktails were solid. Staff friendly too. Only thing is the prices felt a bit steep for what you get, but okay for a one-off.

Tasting menu was solid, each dish well thought out. Wine pairings matched nicely. Staff knew their stuff. Pricey, but you're paying for the experience. Good spot for a proper dinner.

The margaritas were solid and the food surprised me—way more creative than your typical taco spot. Nice relaxed vibe too. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Stopped by for a quick bite and a beer. Outdoor seating was nice, pretty chill vibe. Food was decent for the price, nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Good enough spot to just relax for a bit.

They kept refilling the buffet fast, even made a separate gluten-free spread for my family member. Nice touch.

The carbonara was really good—creamy without being heavy. I liked that the pasta had a nice bite to it. The tiramisu was the highlight though, not too sweet, just the right amount of coffee. We sat near the window, it was quiet enough to talk. Only thing, the place got a bit warm after a while. But I’d come back for that tiramisu.

The fish was really fresh, tasted like it hadn’t been sitting around. I got the catch of the day and the portion was decent for the price. Not the cheapest place, but you can tell they use good ingredients. Service was friendly too, didn’t have to wait long. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

The huevos rancheros at brunch were the standout — proper homemade salsa, not the watery stuff. Staff checked in just enough without hovering.
