Tianping Mountain, one of the eight major mountains, is a good place to escape the summer heat. Tianping Mountain is located at the junction of Sangzhi, Hunan and Hefeng, Hubei. We stayed in a farmhouse at an altitude of 1,200 meters. There is a standard room with a bathroom. It is very clean and cool. There are no mosquitoes. The farmhouse has original ecological ingredients, primeval forest, good air, not many people, very quiet, and a summer resort. The Tianping Mountain Primeval Forest Reception Station in the picture has been abandoned and is not open. You can stay in a local farmhouse hotel, but there are not many farmhouse hotels. It is best to call and make a reservation in advance. It takes about 4 and a half hours from Changde. Changzhang Expressway turns to Zhanghua Expressway, then to Zhangsang Expressway, and then gets off the expressway at Sangzhi West. Drive about 51 kilometers along Provincial Road 305, and drive about 26 kilometers to 423 Township Road. The road has been good. It is recommended to use Gaode Map Navigation. Baidu Map is not accurate here.
