Came for the food, stayed for the karaoke. The servers were friendly and helpful, especially with menu recommendations for us English speakers.

Cozy spot in Barrio Escalante, loved the vibe inside. Staff were friendly and the food came out quick. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but overall a nice place to hang.

The al pastor pizza from the brick oven was the move—sweet pineapple with that smoky char worked way better than I expected. Place has a fun buzz to it, though you might have to raise your voice once it fills up. I grabbed a mezcal cocktail on the side, and honestly the smoky notes paired nicely with the pie. Solid spot if you're in the mood for something casual.

The Chela Rolla burger was the reason I picked this place and it didn't disappoint. Juicy, messy, exactly what you want. We also had the Ensalada Rio Frío on the side, which was fresh and cut through the heaviness. Place was packed and loud, but the energy was fun. Service kept up fine even with our big group. Menu is massive, almost too much to look at.

Stopped by this place in Heredia looking for a cold one and ended up staying longer than planned. They got a solid list of craft beers, not gonna lie. Staff knew their stuff and pointed me to something I actually liked. Pizza was decent too, good enough to soak up the beer. Chill spot overall, nothing fancy but does the job.

Stopped by Saturday around 5, place was pretty empty. Paella was good, no complaints. Service was fine too. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price.

Nice wine pairing with the complimentary Catalana — friendly staff made the first meal in Costa Rica a solid start.

Stopped by for a beer and pizza with friends last week. The milk stout was seriously good, probably my favorite dark beer in San Jose right now. Pizza held up its end too. Only thing is the street noise gets kinda loud when it's busy, but we still hung out for a while. Nice spot if you're not looking for somewhere super quiet. 🍕

Good beer selection, always changing taps. Bartender knew his stuff. Prices fair for what you get. Music was decent too.

The pulled pork and brisket were properly smoked, super juicy. Honestly the kind of BBQ I’d crave on a random Tuesday. They even have a kids menu which is nice if you’re with a group. Service was friendly and quick, didn’t feel rushed at all. Good spot to just hang out and eat with friends 😊

Stopped by for a beer and ended up trying the deep-fried Oreos—such a fun little treat. The vibe was chill, not too loud, which I appreciated. Beer list had plenty of options, though I wish they had more light choices. Fine for a casual hangout.

Bread was solid, staff knew their stuff. Explained the different ones without rushing us. Asked for extra butter, no problem. 👍

Been coming here for a while now. Beer's always cold and the staff remembers you. Plenty of seats inside and out, never had to wait long.
