Loved the quiet vibe here. Had a slice of the Christmas cake with my coffee, so good. Felt more like a cozy cafe than a regular bakery.

The feijoada on Sunday was solid, plenty of meat and beans, one plate was enough to skip dinner later. I saw the veggie option changing daily, looked decent too. Portion size is generous for what you pay, honestly. Just wish they had more seating, got a bit cramped around 1pm.

Stopped here for a quick lunch while passing through Peniche. Got the fisherman's rice — loaded with shrimp and fish, pretty solid. Family running the place kept things moving fast. Just remember it's cash only, which caught me off guard. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the old town.

Lovely spot by the water — the setting really is gorgeous. Prices felt fair for what you get. Staff were friendly too, which made it easy to just sit back and relax for a while. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

Great food quality and good experience/ambiance. But there is no doubts that is an expensive restaurant.

Service was friendly and attentive. Maria herself chatted with us and talked about the food. In particular, the salads were delicious, fresh, flavorful and interesting.

Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than planned. The owner actually sat down and chatted for a bit, which was nice. Food was solid, home-style stuff. Portions are big, I couldn't finish mine. Not fancy at all, but that's the charm. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The veggie plate with spinach was solid, decent size for the money. Garlic bread came out warm, not too greasy. Place was busy on a Tuesday night but we got seated quick. Prices fair for what you get around here. Not fancy, but it does the job when you don't feel like cooking.

The staff were friendly and the medieval spot inside the old city gate is pretty cool. Ginja was a must-try, they even told us a bit about the building's history.

The staff were so nice with our kids, and that stew was easily the best thing I ate in 10 days in Portugal. Just wish we'd brought cash for a tip.

Lasagna and picanha were solid, prices fair. Handy spot right by the bus station, easy stop if you're passing through. Service was quick enough.

The cataplana with monkfish and lobster was solid. Broth had good depth, not overly salty. Place gets busy, so service slows down a bit, but the food makes up for it.

This place is a hidden gem! The seafood platter was fresh and well-prepared, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

Came here with the family for a birthday. Food was solid, nothing fancy but well done. The staff treated us right, even with the place packed. Had the grilled fish and it came out fresh, hot. Portion could be bigger for the price, but I left satisfied. Will probably be back next month.

Seafood starter was solid, tuna pâté came with good bread. Pasta main hit the spot. Dessert big enough for two. Service quick, almost too quick. Place got busy by 8. Fine for a casual dinner.

The bread was still warm when they brought it out, and the vegetable soup hit the spot. Paolo made sure we felt taken care of the whole time.

The grilled octopus was really fresh, tender, not rubbery at all. Portion felt generous for the price. I liked that they didn't drown it in oil, just simple seasoning. Place is small, a bit cramped maybe, but the food speaks for itself. Would come back for the fish of the day.

Good spot for a quick bite. Food came fast, no complaints there. Had the grilled chicken with rice — rice was a bit dry, but the chicken made up for it. Prices are fair for what you get. Fine for a casual dinner.

The steak with mushroom cream sauce was cooked right, sauce went well with the meat. Spaghetti bolognese came out a bit salty though. Decent spot for a quick dinner.

This restaurant offers a fantastic homemade style of cooking, with generous portions and excellent value for money. Highly recommend trying the cod and octopus!

Decent spot for a weekend drink. The live music gives it a nice buzz without being too loud. Place is big, so even when it fills up you can find a corner. Sunday was busier than I expected though. Probably better to grab a table earlier if you want a proper seat. Pretty good overall.

I had a wonderful experience at Di Gusto! The atmosphere was welcoming and romantic, and the staff provided magnificent service. I highly recommend this restaurant for a lovely dining experience.

The tournedos were spot on - tender, juicy, that cream sauce with bacon just worked. Pork neck slices were solid too. Sat by the window watching the square, pretty nice vibe. Service kept it simple, no fuss. Maybe a touch pricey for what you get, but I left full and happy.

The lobster seafood rice was a solid pick — came bubbling in the clay pot and fed all four of us easily. Portion size alone makes it worth the money. Staff even threw in some shrimp and cheese appetizers. Just show up hungry.

Cozy little place, feels like eating at someone's home. Food's proper homemade, nothing fancy but tasty. Prices fair for what you get. Just bring cash on weekends, they don't take card then. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The homemade veggie steak surprised me, and that vegan mayo was spot on. Service friendly, just a bit of a wait for the food.

The lighting in here is so warm, it feels like someone’s living room. We had the tapas and a bottle of red—the wine list is all over Portugal, which I loved. Service was friendly, not pushy. Only thing is it got a bit loud later, but honestly didn’t mind. Reliable spot.

The pizza dough was light and the wood-oven char came through just right. Fresh toppings too. Tiramisu finished things off nicely, though I wish the portion was a bit bigger.
