The feijoada on Sunday was solid, plenty of meat and beans, one plate was enough to skip dinner later. I saw the veggie option changing daily, looked decent too. Portion size is generous for what you pay, honestly. Just wish they had more seating, got a bit cramped around 1pm.

Stopped here for a quick lunch while passing through Peniche. Got the fisherman's rice — loaded with shrimp and fish, pretty solid. Family running the place kept things moving fast. Just remember it's cash only, which caught me off guard. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the old town.

Lovely spot by the water — the setting really is gorgeous. Prices felt fair for what you get. Staff were friendly too, which made it easy to just sit back and relax for a while. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

Great food quality and good experience/ambiance. But there is no doubts that is an expensive restaurant.

A beautiful restaurant with excellent food and service. Tip: try the duck Margret with orange sauce. The cheese mousse with red fruits as dessert

The food was delicious. We had cod w cream, sea bass and fried cod and everything was delicious. A bit expensive tho

The mixed seafood rice was solid, came out fast too. House dessert with espresso hit the spot. Busy at lunch but worth it.

Came here on a weeknight, place was pretty quiet. They had some live music going, which was nice background noise. Food was decent, nothing crazy. Service took a while though, had to wait a bit for the bill. It's alright if you're not in a hurry.

Stopped by for lunch because it’s right on the square, facing the monastery. Pizza was solid, baked macaroni too. Prices fair for the spot. Service was a bit slow though, took a while to get the bill. Fine if you’re not in a rush.

The daily specials were limited but everything tasted properly homemade. That chocolate dessert was the highlight for me 🍫

We stopped by for dinner and Sergio totally made the night. He picked a Tourigo Nacional for us and it went so well with the pork cheeks. Those were super tender, honestly the best thing I ate in Portugal. Place was a bit busy but that just added to the vibe. Would come back if I'm in the area again 😊

This culinary team truly deserves a Michelin star for their creativity and exceptional taste. The reasonable prices for such quality make it a must-visit.

Gluten-free here is actually safe—no flour in the kitchen, grill only for meat and fish. Staff spoke clear English too. Solid spot for coeliacs.

The place has that warm, cozy vibe and we grabbed a table outside. Portions are definitely generous, no complaints there. But honestly, everything came out a bit salty for me. If you're not big on salt, just ask them to go easy on the seasoning. I'd probably do that next time.

Right by the Fatima sanctuary, easy to find. Had the bacalhau, portion was huge and cooked properly. Staff friendly enough. Solid spot for a quick traditional meal.

The owner was playing traditional Portuguese music in the background, which honestly made the whole place feel way more authentic. Nice change from the touristy spots around. I just sat there, listened, and enjoyed the vibe. Didn't want to leave, really.

Tucked away from the crowds. Grilled sea bass was spot on, flaky and fresh. Traditional decor gives it a nice local feel. Owner came by for a quick chat, pointed us in the right direction for the next stop. Solid find if you're tired of the tourist traps.

The fish stew was spot on, really fresh and simple. Grilled sole too. Service was friendly enough. Prices fair for what you get.

The seafood rice was plenty for four even though we ordered for two. Classic Portuguese taste, no complaints.

The seafood rice here is seriously generous—easily feeds two, maybe more. Staff handed us aprons before we dug in, which was a nice touch. A crisp white wine would've paired perfectly with it, though.

We stopped by for tapas and honestly the tuna with avocado was the best thing we ordered. House wine was decent, nothing fancy but fine. Service stayed on top of things even though the place got busy later. Coffee mousse for dessert surprised me, not too sweet. Only small thing, we waited a bit for the bill at the end.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the service stood out the most. They even kept an eye on my scooter while we ate, which I thought was super thoughtful. Food was solid too, fries stayed crispy even in the takeaway box. Nice spot for a casual hangout 😊

Tiny little place, nothing fancy, but the food tastes like actual home cooking. Menu changes with whatever’s fresh that day, which I love. Went with two friends and we just shared everything. Cozy but a bit cramped, honestly fine for a quick dinner. Would go back for sure. 😊

The dining room is gorgeous and the owner actually came by to check on us. Food was so good I almost ordered a second round 😅

The terrace view of the castle is a nice touch. Burgers are solid, veggie one too. Just mind the pigeons if you sit outside. 🍔

The food was lovely, especially the meat loaf. Service was really friendly and attentive. It's a bit pricey, but you can tell the quality is there. Just be aware it gets noisy when it's full.

Came here with a couple friends and honestly the grilled fish by the entrance is the move. You pick it fresh and they just throw it on the charcoal. Super simple but so tasty. Place gets busy though so grab a table first. Would go back just for that. 🐟

Walked in not knowing what to expect. Place looks like a small museum, owner’s travels everywhere. Had the chicken moamba — rich, kinda spicy, really good. Samosas were solid too. Felt like eating around the world in one sitting. Only thing, service took a bit. But I’d go back.

The staff here were genuinely lovely, super attentive without hovering. Food was decent, but honestly the service made the whole evening. Cozy spot.
