The grilled octopus was spot on, tender and smoky. I went with a glass of the local white they suggested, paired really nicely with the dish. Place was busy for a Tuesday, but the staff still found time to chat about the wine list. Only hiccup was the bread took a while to arrive. Solid spot for a relaxed dinner.

The veggie bun chay was solid and I loved that they label which dishes have fish sauce. So helpful when you're vegetarian and tired of asking a million questions 😅

Nice little spot with 12 rotating taps. Owner knew his stuff and pointed me to something I actually liked. The gluten-free option was a bonus. Prices were fair for the pour size.

Buffet’s a solid way to try a bit of everything—grilled stuff and salads were all decent. Dessert included was a nice bonus.

The egg roll was really good, fresh and not greasy at all. I had the Ovomaltine milk drink too, perfect after a walk by the lake. Staff were friendly, didn't rush us. Just wish the seating outside had a bit more shade, but honestly the view made up for it. Nice spot for a light bite.

Classic 60s diner feel right in the center. Loved the retro booths and the relaxed vibe. My burger was solid, though the fries could've been hotter.

We stumbled in here with a group of four and honestly, the homemade pesto and focaccia were the highlight. So good. Menu’s small but everything we tried was fresh. Just make sure you book a table, it gets packed and we almost didn’t get one. 😅

Service was friendly, no complaints there. The food is solid—nothing mind-blowing but consistent. For the price, it's honestly hard to beat around here. I've been a few times now and it never disappoints. Just don't expect anything fancy. Good spot if you're nearby and hungry.

The evening menu surprised me - that cured Arctic char on asparagus salad was so good, and the local wine pairing made it even better. Prices are fair for what you get. Nice spot for a casual catch-up with friends. 🙂

The flatbread pizza here is really something—way better than your average pub food. Cozy spot, staff were friendly. Just wish I had room for dessert.

Sushi was fine, nothing crazy. But for what you pay, I kinda expected a bit more. The fish was fresh enough, just not mind-blowing. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Still, it’s a solid spot if you’re in the area and don’t wanna think too hard about dinner.

The fried rice noodles were the best thing I ordered. Good wok hei, not too greasy, and the texture was spot on. Portion size was fair for the price. I didn't pay much attention to the setting, but the food itself did the job. Would eat those noodles again.

Stumbled in here while wandering around the old city gate. Small menu, but the food was solid. Had the schnitzel and it came out crispy, exactly how it should be. Place is tiny though, so don't expect much space. Service was friendly enough. Fine for a quick stop if you're in the area.

Asked for extra spicy and they actually delivered. My mouth was burning but that’s exactly what I wanted. The fish came out fresh, not frozen-tasting. Portion was big enough that I couldn’t finish it. No complaints about the heat level—most places water it down. This one doesn’t.

Nicole took care of us and honestly she made the whole night. Left with a smile, would totally come back for her 😊

The service at this restaurant is exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable experience. It's a perfect spot for a relaxing meal.

Came for the live music, stayed for the food. That sax player really set a nice mood without being too loud. Had the grilled fish and it was cooked just right. Service was friendly but a bit slow since the place was packed. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for around here.

Solid lunch spot. Got the set menu, came out fast and the price was right. Parking right in front makes it easy. Good enough for a quick bite.

The pizza here is genuinely good. Crust had that perfect crisp-chewy thing going on, and the toppings tasted fresh. The homemade sauce was the real highlight though—you can tell they actually make it in-house. I just wish the slices were a bit bigger for the price. Would come back for that sauce alone.

Stopped in for a drink and ended up staying longer than planned. They bring out nuts and pretzels with your order, which is a nice touch. Old-school vibe inside, nothing fancy but comfortable. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean, too. My martini was solid, though I wish they'd offered a better olive selection. Fine spot if you're in the area and just want a relaxed drink.

The buffet here is solid for vegetarians — plenty of hot dishes that were actually fresh, not sitting around. They even had Jain options, which you don't see often in this area. Place itself is a bit cramped though, tables close together. Fine if you're not in a rush.

The Filou bread straight from the oven was the highlight—warm, crusty, perfect with my oat milk cappuccino. Good vegan options too. Coffee was solid, though I wish they had a natural wine option to pair with that bread.

The view from up there is something else — you can see all the way across Lake Constance into Switzerland and Vorarlberg. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but the owner was friendly and it made the whole stop feel easy. Sat a bit longer than planned just taking it in.

We grabbed goulash soup and cordon bleu after a long walk—the soup was super hearty, perfect for sharing. Place had a chill vibe, not too loud, so we could actually chat. Service was fine, nothing crazy. Only thing, the wrap was kinda big and messy to eat, but still tasty. Would come back with the group 👍

We booked ahead for a group thing and that saved us. Service kept things moving, no long waits between courses. I had the veggie plate—decent, not mind-blowing, but the flavors worked. Place was lively but we could still talk. Fine for what it was, though I wouldn't rush back alone.

The fish platter for two was generous, decent quality. Salad was just okay. Lakeside spot is nice if you're already on the island. Good enough for a casual meal.

Food's solid, menu has enough variety. Owner's cool about special requests. Reliable spot.
