TheForkUserWhen we first arrived at the restaurant for our 7.30 reservation the staff weren’t ready to open so we went elsewhere for a drink.Once we returned the restaurant filled quickly and the food was superb.Our waiter, Davide, deserves a special mention as his service and advice on local wine was exceptional.

TheForkUserVery helpful wait staff that helped make great suggestions for entrees. Good location off of a main square, quiet yet lively in the distance. Food was excellent. We had an appi featuring different olive oils paired with the proper foods to eat them with. Had a roasted Octopus that was cut with a fork it was so tender. Great desserts and house made Amaro. Well worth a visit.

TheForkUserA small restaurant in the centre of town. From the very start we felt welcomed by all the staff. Courteous friendly and helpful. The selection on the menu was varied and all appealed. When we indicated that we intended sharing certain dishes it was no problem. The ingredients are of high quality and all freshly cooked. This is Italian regional cooking at its best. Portions are generous without being excessive. Highlights were an appetiser based on asparagus with a yellow tomato sauce, delicious, thank heavens for bread to wipe the plate clean and not waste anything. The pasta with prawns and asparagus also excellent and would order again. . We shared a main based on sucking pig also excellent and perfectly cooked. Sadly too full for desert. We will probably return again even though only staying in the area for 4 nights. Thank you for an excellent enjoyable meal in your delightful restaurant.

TheForkUserWe were driving to Bari from Lecce and wanted to break for lunch. This popped up and the place is chic and has a elegant ambience for a celebration as well. We were there for casual lunch and the service was extremely friendly, patient and polite. We ordered our dishes as we ate as we couldn’t decide how much we wanted to eat and the food arrived quickly as we ordered. Seafood of sea bass, prawns, scallops, salmon were fresh and light and the sushi rice well seasoned. Highly recommended!

TheForkUserApart from the fact that the entry level of wine was €25 (great wine though) we had a lovely dinner with absolutely delicious food. (Christmas decorations could go down after Easter, but that's just a touch to be picky). Also the surroundings are magical. Must visit!

TheForkUserWe visited with friends and had a wonderful lunch! The portions were well sized and were able to comfortably have appetisers, first and second course. The ingredients were fresh and the food was delicious! Particularly enjoyed the meatballs, Orecchiette cemi di rapa and the Bombette. The interior was tastefully decorated, modern and clean. The service was attentive and fast (special thanks to our waiter for making us feel welcome and at home). Overall, a great experience that I recommend if you’re in the area!

Gave recommendations for food and wine, all was incredible. Was a really special meal that we’re so glad we made a reservation for during our time in Monopoli.

TheForkUserWe were staying overnight near Bari Centrale and found this gem of a restaurant near our AirBNB.Don’t let the neighborhood fool you, this is a great restaurant with lovely ambience.Staff were friendly and efficient and spoke English fluently.The food was excellent, we had seafood meatballs, Carbonera, and Amatracina. Fresh handmade pasta was excellent and sauces were rich snd tasty. Tiramisu for dessert topped off things quite nicely. The house red wine was quite good as well, although only sold by the glass versus carafes.If you find yourself by the Bari Train Station for an evening we would recommend Peppo without hesitation.

TheForkUserCarloQuinto was one of my favorite culinary experiences in Puglia. Gorgeous view of the ocean from your table and the staff is extremely efficient, kind, and hospitable. Every bite is a masterpiece and their Spritz is delicious! I really enjoyed my lunch here and would eat here every day if I could!

TheForkUserNot only was the sushi creative and delicious, the staff went out of their way to make our evening special. Someone in our family wasn’t feeling well and there are no taxis in the area. Without hesitation, the staff offered to drive us home and refused to take any money for it. Truly service and small town kindness at its best. Grazie mille

We booked through The Fork with a discount, but also without it you'd definitely get value for your money. We only spent 2 days in Taranto, but otherwise we would definitely have been back.

TheForkUserHonestly one of the worst meals I’ve had in 3yrs in living in Italy. The view is amazing and the wine list looked nice. That’s where the positives end, alas. We ordered two pasta dishes and they took *over an hour* to arrive. And when they did the tortelli were undercooked (not al dente, legit hard). They apologized, but there’s really no excuse to treat guests like this. To avoid.

TheForkUserThe service was incredible. We had two servers helping us out, explaining the dishes (what made them local and what made some of them more modern), and making us feel welcomed. The ambience was a little different than expected but just because it was calmer, not because it was bad. The spaghetti assassini are an absolute must-have, an absolute reference for the dish.
