Stopped here on our way into Chianti. The staff was really helpful in picking a local wine. Food was solid, a nice welcome to the area.

The fried veggie tortellini were the highlight for me. Perfectly crisp outside, with a flavorful, not-too-heavy filling. The sandwiches looked great too, but I'll have to try those next time.

Great spot for a quick coffee break. The coffee is consistently good, and the croissants are fresh. Staff is friendly, which is nice when you're in a hurry. Got my order in under a minute.

Loved the local bruschettas! Perfectly crisp bread with fresh toppings. The view from the outdoor seating was a nice bonus too.

Loved the setting in the old furnace, very unique. Parking was easy, which is a plus. Had the grilled octopus, it was tender but could've used a bit more char for my taste.

Been coming here for years. They always get the pacing right between courses, never feels rushed.

We were a group of 15 people, and all of us were amazed by this place. Great food, friendly service and the surroundings were amazing.Thank you for a lovely evening.Highly recommended.

Lovely spot in Umbertide. Food is classic Umbrian, lots of meat, mushrooms and truffles! The servings are generous. Service very attentive and smooth. Dining room is nice, plenty of space between the tables, though lighting a bit bright. Highly recommended.

Should be renamed Birra Best! Fabulous service, food and atmosphere. Absolutely amazing craft beer. We’ve enjoyed it so much we’ve been three times already this week. Highly recommend!

Excellent restaurant with wonderful ambiance. The food was amazing and the service was superb. We drive in from Gaiole and it was worth the half hour drive.

The setting is amazing, a gorgeous villa situated at the top of a cypress tree lined drive with stunning views. The food quality is excellent and the staff friendly and courteous. They serve their own produced wines and olive oil with the meal.A real gem and well worth the visit.

For lunch, we did not see any written menu nor price. Instead the waiter read the options to us: three choices for primo, secondo, contorno and dolce. We needed to ask for the price, which 22€ for the set menu excluding beverages. The dishes were typical Italian home cooking - not bad, but nothing special neither. We were not able to pay with credit card (even though it was possible to check out from the same hotel). At the entrance door, you could see three recommendations of Michelin - the most recent from 2015. Possibly eight years ago, the restaurant had the quality level of Michelin recommended places, but certainly not anymore in 2023!

We have somehow managed to omit L'Oliveto from our itinerary over the years. We have finally made amends, and it was spectacular! From the greeting to the seating to the eating, all was better than expected. The steak was delicious, tender, tasty. Highly recommended! The wine list is pretty extensive, focusing on the Strada Vino d'Orcia, and includes some truly rare bottles. All in all, good times indeed!

The menu is extensive, which is nice. I was happy to find a few clearly marked vegetarian and gluten-free options. The ingredients in my salad tasted genuinely fresh, not like they'd been sitting around.

For a four-star establishment, the service was friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience enjoyable despite some minor issues with the food seasoning.
