Lovely spot in Umbertide. Food is classic Umbrian, lots of meat, mushrooms and truffles! The servings are generous. Service very attentive and smooth. Dining room is nice, plenty of space between the tables, though lighting a bit bright. Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant with wonderful ambiance.  The food was amazing and the service was superb.  We drive in from Gaiole and it was worth the half hour  drive.

For lunch, we did not see any written menu nor price. Instead the waiter read the options to us: three choices for primo, secondo, contorno and dolce. We needed to ask for the price, which 22&euro; for the set menu excluding beverages. The dishes were typical Italian home cooking - not bad, but nothing special neither.We were not able to pay with credit card (even though it was possible to check out from the same hotel).At the entrance door, you could see three recommendations of Michelin - the most recent from 2015. Possibly eight years ago, the restaurant had the quality level of Michelin recommended places, but certainly not anymore in 2023!

We have somehow managed to omit L&#39;Oliveto from our itinerary over the years. We have finally made amends, and it was spectacular! From the greeting to the seating to the eating, all was better than expected. The steak was delicious, tender, tasty. Highly recommended! The wine list is pretty extensive, focusing on the Strada Vino d&#39;Orcia, and includes some truly rare bottles. All in all, good times indeed!

I had a wonderful experience at this family-run restaurant. The owner was incredibly kind, and the service was attentive. The Florentine steak was a highlight of the meal!

Take yourself to this lovely hilltop village for a wonderful meal overlooking the beautiful valley below.  The six hundred year old building has been beautifully renovated and the food features delicious Umbrian classics, some with a twist.

Found this spot off the main drag. Prices are fair, portions are decent. Service was attentive without being overbearing. A solid, straightforward meal.

This restaurant offers excellent Tuscan cuisine with a beautiful and elegant atmosphere. The staff is very kind and attentive, making the dining experience truly enjoyable.

We booked this only 20 mins before arriving for Sunday lunch. We sat outside with a good view of the Umbrian  countryside. To start we shared octopus and potatoes and then both chose the lobster pasta. The starter was good and the main spectacular. The dish came with half a lobster in shell with the pasta in a rich seafood sauce. Will will definitely come back.

The menu is extensive, which is nice. I was happy to find a few clearly marked vegetarian and gluten-free options. The ingredients in my salad tasted genuinely fresh, not like they&#39;d been sitting around.

The menu is packed with good stuff, tough to pick just one. Went for the lamb ragu pappardelle, sauce was rich and meaty, pasta cooked just right. Portion&#39;s decent for the price.

Simple and traditional, just how I like it. The pasta was spot on. The house red they suggested was a great match, really brought out the flavors. Felt like a proper Tuscan trattoria.
