TheForkUserFabulous regional food! Very tasty, huge portions and incredible value! The staff made us very welcome and seemed happy to ser
TheForkUserLocation is perfect, by River Tâmega and near the monastery and bridge. The price is really good considering the quality of the food and service (for soup, garlic bread and main course and drinks, we paid around 25€ a person)
TheForkUserGreat and surprising food!!
TheForkUserFood was great, staff is friendly and the music and atmosphere was lots of fun
TheForkUserExceptional food (probably the best in the valley) and location as ever. Service took time to get going and was a bit patchy. Communication in English to Portuguese was also a barrier.
TheForkUserthe ambience, scenery, location, setting is a 5 stars for sure.. the food was good but my only deception was the cod fish.. the menu should have emphasised this was not fresh cod but salted cod. The server did mention the dish was salty but there's a huge difference between being salty and not fresh fish. That part of the meal completely threw us off of what could have been an exceptional experience.
_TI***jwThe atmosphere of this restaurant is lovely, especially the terrace for outdoor dining. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided.
_TI***1nI was particularly impressed by the tasting menu, which was innovative and perfectly paired with wines. Each course was a delightful surprise, reflecting the chef's creativity and dedication to quality.
TheForkUserGreat food, really affordable compared to Lisbon. Waiter was very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our experience. We were there on Sunday dinner, there was only one other table and they left shorty around 8.30, restaurant opened at 8pm, so we were the only customers
TheForkUserThey brought us the main plate without waiting for us to finish the appetizers which is a lack of attention from their part. The rest was correct, the food was very good.
TheForkUserAmazing food from such a small place tucked out of the way. Reasonably priced too and friendly and knowledgable waiter. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserGood staff and good quality products. Service was fast although a little bit pricey. Nice location.
TheForkUserPerfect moment and dîner at monverde ! Thank you so much for all.Ambiance, dîner, view, propre working here are amazing. We love to come back ☺️ !
TheForkUserWe actually ate here three times - twice for dinner and one for lunch. Lunch executive menu was a great deal and very tasty.Dinner was more variable - one of us ordered the bacalau twice and it was a bit different with one night better than the other. Veg lentil option was ok. Dessert was tastier at the lunch than dinner. They didn’t have half the port on the menu but did offer us the more expensive option for the price of the cheaper.
TheForkUserGood food, wonderful, clean restaurant. Really dellicious, good in any place of the world.Portuguese traditional food with a touch of innovation. . Never forgetting this place. We will repeat, for sure
TheForkUserfrom the way the wonderful house manager Antonio met us at the little parking spot next to the restaurant, to the wonderful property they have, to the food and presentation, to the wonderful WI es and Antonio's expertise in pairings, everything was superb with tonight's dinner.
TheForkUserSeixo was recommended and we're so glad that it was. The food was delicious, wine wonderful, you couldn't beat sitting out with the beautiful views!
TheForkUserBeautiful place, amazing staff and the food was incredibly good! Would recommend 10/10
TheForkUserExcellent service with a funny staff. Food very tasty and in large portions. The room had the AC off and it was very hot. Better try the 1st floor room.Suggestion: book in advance ????
