Seafood platter was decent—fried and grilled yellowtail, calamari, mussels, plus a tangy pickled fish on the side. Pretty good value for what you get.

Stumbled on this place by accident and honestly so glad I did. The garden is gorgeous, proper chill spot to sit with a coffee. I had the chocolate cake and it was really good, not too sweet. The rescued dogs wandering around are such a nice touch. Service was a bit slow but I wasn't in a rush anyway.

The bobotie was spot on — rich and comforting on a rainy day. Grabbed a seat near the fireplace and it made the whole stop feel cosy.

The new German owner really knows his way around a kitchen. Curry special was tasty and came out quick. Solid spot for a lunch break.

Busy little spot, especially on weekends. The fish and calamari combo was properly crispy though, worth the wait. Just book ahead if you can.

The milkshakes are the move here. Thick, sweet, exactly what you need after a meal. The confectionary is solid too. Quick stop, no fuss.

The rooster bread Benedict was solid, and the coffee pairing hit the spot. Fair price for the area.

The cheesecake here is seriously good—probably the best thing on the menu. I wish the owner smiled a bit more, but the baked goods make up for it.

The fountain out front is lovely, but honestly I keep coming back for the coffee. Consistent every single time, which is rare to find. Haven't tried the juices yet though.

The bobotie at breakfast was properly spiced, not too sweet. Homemade bread was still warm. That's really all I need in the morning. Portion could be bigger for the price but the flavour makes up for it.

Been coming here for a while now. Ribs are still tender, sauce has that smoky kick I remember. Pub grub done right, prices stay fair. Not the fanciest place but it's consistent, which is why I keep going back. Good spot to grab a beer and a plate after work.

Been coming here for years now. Banana bread still hits the same as the first time I tried it. Moist, not too sweet, proper homemade taste. Other places just don't get it right. Always grab a slice when I'm in the area.
