Been here a few times. Staff are always friendly, even when they're rushed off their feet. Quick to get your order sorted and bring drinks. Makes a difference when you just want a straightforward meal.

Decent Sunday roast, especially for Brighton prices. The place is tiny though, so it can get a bit cramped. Staff were on it, friendly and quick even when it was busy.

The kids' meals were surprisingly fresh - they even ate all the veggies! Great to see proper ingredients for little ones.

The staff were so friendly, we ended up chatting about the neighbourhood for ages. Really made the evening feel warm and personal.

Been coming here for years. Joe's fish and chips are always spot on, never greasy. That's why I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years, mainly for the drinks. What keeps me coming back is the live music. It's always solid, whether it's a solo act or a full band. Just a reliable spot for a good pint and some tunes.

The regulars here are so friendly. They just started chatting with us at the bar, made us feel right at home. It’s that kind of easy, old-school vibe you don’t find much anymore.

The sticky toffee pudding was the star for me. Warm, gooey, and not too sweet. It just hit the spot perfectly after the main course.

A handy place to pull in with the EV. The vegan burger was decent, and I had a pint while waiting for the car to charge. The high ceilings and big windows made it feel quite airy, which was nice.

Cosy little place, and they were so accommodating with our pushchairs on a packed Saturday. Managed to get a table, which was a relief! The kids' meals were simple but the veggies on the side were actually fresh and crisp, not just an afterthought. That really stood out for me.

Solid old-school pub. The open fire was a nice touch on a cold evening. Good for watching sports on the big screen. Quiz nights seem popular. Dog-friendly, which is a plus. A decent local option.

Nice spot to catch the game. The bar staff were chill about switching the screen for our match. The vibe is relaxed, not too loud, so you can actually follow the action. Good for a casual pint.

Nice spot for a relaxed afternoon with friends. Decent wine selection, and the food truck outside was a pleasant surprise.

A lovely little spot, feels like a European cafe. The owner was so friendly and attentive. Their pancakes are really nice, light and fluffy. A nice surprise for a casual brunch.

The tartar sauce was the star, definitely homemade. Fish and chips were fine, but that sauce made it.

The Sunday roast is a steal! Huge portions, and those roast potatoes were perfectly crispy. 😋

The cooked breakfasts were really good. The bacon was perfectly crisp, the eggs just runny enough, and the black pudding had a nice depth to it. It was the highlight of the stay.

Drinks were top-notch, no doubt. But honestly, the prices made me pause. It's definitely a premium spot, so you're paying for that vibe. Just be ready for the bill.

Been coming here for years, and the bottomless brunch is always solid. The mini plates, like the Caesar salad and chorizo, are consistently good. Drinks get topped up quickly, which is all I really ask for. It's just reliable.

Loved the patatas bravas and chorizo here. Perfect for sharing. The wine list was decent, though I wish they had a few more Spanish reds by the glass to pair with the chorizo. Still, a solid spot for tapas.

Found this cute little spot tucked away! The heaters and blankets were a lifesaver on a chilly evening, made it so easy to just hang out and chat with friends for ages. Really relaxed vibe.

Lovely relaxed family lunch here. The atmosphere was just right for a long catch-up. I was really impressed by the wine list - found a great local white that paired beautifully with the fish special. A bit on the pricey side for lunch, but the pours were generous.

Came for a family dinner. The staff were really helpful when we couldn't decide - their recommendation for the special was spot on. Food came out quickly and piping hot, which was a nice touch.

Decent local pub. Went for the quiz night, the host was pretty funny. Staff behind the bar were quick and friendly. Had a good laugh with the team.

Been staying here for years. The rooms are always spotlessly clean, and I love the decor. The bed's super comfy, and the shower is reliably hot with great pressure. It's just a consistently nice place to stay.

A nice little spot. The jukebox is a fun touch, and the seats were surprisingly comfortable.
