Lovely classic London pub. Their house red was a nice surprise, went down a treat with the atmosphere. Prices are fair too.

Camilo was so attentive and friendly, really made the evening feel relaxed. The service here is genuinely warm, which is lovely when you just want a comfortable meal out.

The fish was a good size and cooked just right. Really appreciated how fresh it tasted. The chips were crispy outside and fluffy inside.

Sunday roast was spot on. Beef just fell apart, and the veg had a proper roast to them. That giant Yorkshire pudding though. Big portions, left feeling stuffed.

Josh the manager was fantastic with my food intolerance. He walked me through the allergy menu himself, which was a huge relief. The wine list had some nice options to pair with the safe choices too.

Loved the vibe upstairs. Iñaki was super helpful.

The set lunch is an incredible deal! Every dish I've tried has been delicious, especially the pork belly salad and beef cheek. It's a perfect spot for a hearty meal that won't break the bank.

As a coeliac, it's a relief when the staff actually know their stuff. They walked me through the menu, no fuss. Felt safe ordering for once.

Had a great catch-up here with friends. The staff were really attentive, not rushing us at all. We ended up staying for an extra drink and dessert just because the vibe was so relaxed. Prices are decent for this area too.

Popped in for happy hour. The 2-for-1 cocktails are solid, and the beer pitcher is a proper deal. Makes for a decent, easy stop.

When I booked this, it escaped me that it was situated in the Café Royal Hotel. What a beautiful setting, on the balcony of the main reception to the hotel; and what history. Adorning the walls are memorabilia of days gone by and the rich and famous, who frequented the hotel. For instance, adjacent the dining area is an annexe that was home to the final performance of David Bowie as his alter ego, Ziggy Stardust. Elsewhere, there are pictures of Lulu, Mick Jagger and Lou Reed and many others. We chose to eat from the set menu and the food was superb. Service was swift without being rushed, and tables are well spaced so even when busy there is no feeling of being cramped, indeed quite intimate at our generous round (as many of them are) table. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant as a must see place, and we’ll be back too as it’s just too good for a one off visit. As a post matinee theatre dinner, this was perfect for us, a haven in an otherwise bustling area of London.

The afternoon tea was decent with the voucher. I really liked the fresh ingredients in the sandwiches.

The cheese and wine tasting was a lovely way to spend an evening. The staff's guidance through the pairings was spot on—learned a thing or two without it feeling like a lecture. Just a relaxed, enjoyable little journey for the palate.

I’m gluten free so delighted there was a separate menu and also crumble for pudding ! Great food and the service was great too

Been coming here for years, and I always get the cod fritters. They're just consistently good - crispy outside, flaky inside, and the seasoning is spot on every single time. That's why I keep coming back.

The chicken ruby was spot on, tender meat in a rich, flavourful curry. Paired it with a crisp, dry Riesling that cut through the richness perfectly. The garlic naan was good, though a touch doughy for my taste. Solid choice.

We had an amazing time at Summerhouse. The food, the service (thank you Akis) and our table on the canal were incredible. Would definitely recommend and go back ourselves. Our friend celebrating his 70th had a great time and felt very spoilt.

I highly recommend the halloumi fries; they were crispy and perfectly seasoned! The quality of the food is impressive for the price.

Mixed mezze for two was a solid choice. Plenty of hot and cold bits, all tasted fresh. Honestly, the portions are huge – we had to get a doggy bag. Good for sharing.

The private booth for us and our dog was a really nice touch. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal, checking in without being intrusive. Made for a relaxed evening.

Very nice and cozy. We've stopped here after walk and got their Wednesday Special - One Kilo of muscles. Food was delicious, service was good and prices were very affordable. Definitely will be back, thank you!

The Victoria Inn is a fantastic pub with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is delicious, especially the Sunday roasts, which are a must-try!

The craft beer selection here is solid. Had a pint of their local IPA with the fish and chips, a classic pairing that just works. The laid-back vibe is great, and the resident dogs are a friendly touch. A bit on the pricey side for a pint, but you're paying for the location and the quality.

Perfect for a quick lunch. The pies are incredible, especially with the chilli vinegar. Got mine to go, and it was ready in a couple of minutes. Proper East End classic.

The poached eggs were just right, and the blueberry pancakes were lovely. Service was polite and attentive, which made for a relaxed meal.

Had the full English breakfast here. Portions are generous for the price, and the staff were really welcoming. The bacon was cooked just right, not too crispy. A solid, classic breakfast spot.

Moses was fantastic, really attentive without hovering. The wine list had some interesting local options, and he suggested a lovely red that went perfectly with the steak. Made for a relaxed evening.

Great spot under the railway arches. It was quiet enough to talk easily, but still had a nice, gentle buzz from other tables. A really pleasant vibe for a relaxed dinner.

Service was friendly and helpful. The bartenders knew their stuff, gave some decent recommendations. A solid spot for a quiet drink.

Been coming here for years. That full English is still huge and hits the spot every time, especially after a morning stroll by the river. Just what you need.
