The goat's cheese salad was really nice. Fresh figs and grilled veg added good flavour. Service was pleasant too, even though it was quite busy. A solid choice for a light dinner.

Decent spot for a quick lunch. Had the carbonara - pasta was cooked right, sauce was decent. Service was prompt, which is what I needed between meetings. Prices are fair for the area.

This place is always packed, so getting a seat is a bit of a mission. But the coffee is really good, strong and smooth. Worth the wait for a table.

Been coming here for years, and the coffee's always spot on. Rich, smooth, no bitterness at all. That consistency is what keeps me coming back, honestly. Staff are lovely too, makes it a proper local spot.

Lovely, homely spot for a pot of tea. The collection of quirky teapots on display is a real treat. Just a nice, quiet place to unwind for an hour.

Perfect spot for a quick lunch. Grabbed some prosciutto and fresh pasta to go. Everything was ready in minutes. A bit pricey, but the quality is there.

Popped in for a coffee and a slice of their gluten-free ginger cake. The cake was really good, moist and not too sweet. Coffee was solid. A bit pricey for what it is, but the cake selection is decent.

Been coming here for years, and the all-day breakfast is the reason. It’s just consistent. The coffee’s always properly hot, and they never fuss when I ask about ingredients. That kind of reliability keeps me coming back.

Weekday afternoon. Service was attentive, pleasant. Evening menu looked good, but we went for the cakes instead. A bit pricey, but the atmosphere is nice.

The staff were so helpful getting highchairs sorted while we managed the little ones. My fish and chips were spot on - crispy batter, proper chips. Made a hectic family lunch much easier.

Lovely spot for breakfast. The seats are comfortable and the service is friendly.

The Turkish eggs were a hit! The creamy yogurt with fresh fruit was a nice surprise. Perfect for a chilled brunch with the girls - we ended up chatting for ages. Just a heads up, the portion felt a bit small for the price.

The owners are friendly and attentive. Food is solid, with both classic and modern options. Convenient location for a quick lunch.

Great spot for a break when you're in the park. Easy walk to the museum and splash pad.

Been coming here for years. The coffee's always solid, never a bad cup. Nice to sit outside when the weather's good.

The red velvet croissant was a fun first for me. Flaky, with that subtle cocoa and cream cheese swirl. Had it with their flat white, which was smooth and strong. A nice little Saturday morning pick-me-up.

The building itself is a gem. You can still see the original tiles and the grand staircase. It's a bit drafty by the windows, but that just adds to the old-world charm.

The coffee is really good, probably the best I've had on Old Kent Road. The staff are always very friendly. It's a nice, quiet spot to sit for a while.

The Lost Elephant Cafe in Camden Market. Had a full English breakfast there last weekend. Portions are huge, really generous. Felt like good value for the money. A solid spot for a proper feed.

The service at this café is exceptional! The staff is always welcoming and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend trying their brunch options.

Lovely professional service from start to finish. Food was delicious. Coffees with a twist were nice. We had Nutella chocolate and picture Coffee, which were both lovely. I told them it was my husband's birthday and they surprised us with a celebratory carrot cake, which was again very tasty. I will definitely come back again and try the full English this time and some sweet treats.

The staff were lovely. Had a mix-up with my cocktail order, but they sorted it quickly with a sincere apology and a fresh one on the house. The whole vibe here is just so warm and relaxed.

The breakfast was spot on, and the coffee was a proper pour-over, rich and smooth. Service was quick and friendly. I do wish they had a few more interesting juices or a breakfast cocktail option to round things out, but it hit the spot.

Popped in for a late lunch with a friend. We ended up chatting for ages over the big breakfast and coffees, no one rushed us out. Perfect for a proper catch-up.

The jacket potato was fantastic, honestly one of the best. The staff were quick and friendly, which was nice. The place itself has a really cosy, relaxed vibe.

The toffee latte was a treat, and it paired nicely with the warm cheese sandwich. Wish my local spot back home had this flavour!
