Staff were super friendly even when it was rammed. Really looked after our big group, checked on allergies and stuff. Made it easy.

Lovely spot right on the seafront. The room was so nicely done up, and waking up to that sea view was a real treat. Staff were really friendly too.

The bread-making course was a lovely surprise. Really enjoyed learning about the ingredients and the fresh, wholesome approach.

Popped in for a catch-up with friends. The apple and cherry tarts were so good we ended up ordering a second round! Perfect for sharing over a long chat.

I went for their lunch set - a starter and a main. The salad was crisp, and the grilled chicken was tender. It's nice to see fresh ingredients at that price point.

Been coming here for years. Sam always remembers my usual drink, which is a nice touch. Service feels personal, not just going through the motions. That's what keeps me coming back.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. We lingered over our pasta and wine, never felt hurried at all. Just a really pleasant, unhurried evening.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper local pub, not fancy. The beer's always good, and the rooms upstairs are clean. Staff are friendly. Does what it says on the tin.

The Oreo sundae was massive, definitely worth the price. Plenty of biscuit bits too.

Been here a few times. The upstairs view is still the main draw for me. Food's always quick. Lauren was our server again, knew her stuff about the building's past. Solid spot.

Great spot for a post-workout meal. The ingredients in my salad were wonderfully fresh.

The layout here is really nice. We had a family meal and the tables were spaced out enough that we didn't feel crowded. The whole place just has a relaxed, easy-going vibe that made it comfortable to sit and chat for a while.

A tidy Shepherd Neame pub right by the station. Felt a bit too lively for a quiet pint, but they handle groups well.

First time here. Staff and other guests were really welcoming. Good choice of drinks, especially the ciders. Food looked decent too.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The club sandwich was decent, nothing fancy, but the portion was huge. Couldn't finish it all. For the price, you definitely get your money's worth. Good spot if you're hungry.

The fish and chips were lovely, and the staff were so friendly. The seats were comfortable too, which made for a really relaxed lunch.

The chips are the star here. Had them fresh out of the fryer on a packed Friday night, and they were perfect - crispy outside, fluffy inside. The option to eat in was a lifesaver when everywhere else was full.

The rosemary-garlic lamb was just as described, really tender. The staff were friendly and efficient, which made for a relaxed meal. The homemade pie was good too.

The Penang curry was spot on, really authentic. It's a good price for what you get. I liked the laid-back vibe in here, the lighting was just right for a relaxed meal.

The courtyard is always so peaceful. Been coming for years and it's consistently a nice spot to sit with the dog.

The fish was freshly prepared and tasted pretty good. Staff were friendly and handled my request for no dairy without any fuss. The sea view from the table was a nice bonus, though the breeze got a bit strong later on.

Generous portions, and you can tell everything is cooked fresh. The staff are really friendly, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed. Service was quick too, so you're not left waiting around.

The fish and chips are cooked fresh to order, so the batter is always light and crispy. You can really taste the difference. It’s a proper treat.

The biriyani was spot on - the rice had a lovely texture and the spice mix was just right. Maybe a bit heavy on the turmeric for me, but still a really nice dish. Keen to come back and explore the rest of the menu!

A really nice spot for a drink. The decor inside is lovely, all warm wood and soft lighting. Felt very relaxed just sitting there. Staff were friendly, too.

The food is clean and well-presented. Exactly what you'd expect from a Wetherspoons. The fish and chips were solid, the batter was crisp and the peas had that proper mushy texture. It's not going to blow your mind, but it's reliable pub grub. Good value for what it is.

Our Friday night ritual. Fish and chips from here, every time. Batter is crisp, chips are proper. Never lets us down.
