The chawanmushi was incredible. The custard was so smooth, and the dashi broth had a deep, savory flavor that was just perfect. I could eat this every day.

The lunch set is a solid deal. Sushi was fresh, and the miso soup was warm. They had a nice selection of sake by the glass, which paired well with the fish. A bit of a wait for the food, but it was a relaxed midday break.

Found this spot while exploring Kumamoto. The sushi and soba were really fresh. Price was a bit higher than I expected, but the portion for the sushi set was decent. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Staff were really focused on their work, which was nice to see. Grabbed some fresh veggies on the way out. Simple place, does a good thing.

The customer service was excellent during my visit! The staff was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed, which really enhanced my dining experience.

The French toast was really good. The texture was spot on, not too soggy or dry. Just the right amount of sweetness too. A solid choice for breakfast.

Nice spot for vegan Taiwanese food. The soy milk with youtiao was pretty good, and the bao had a subtle Japanese touch. A decent find for a quiet lunch.

Kakeru-san was super friendly, really made us feel welcome. The service was smooth, not rushed. It's the kind of attentive staff that lets you just relax and enjoy your wine pairing. A good pour always feels better with service like that.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely, with a beautiful view that enhances the dining experience. The staff was attentive and took the time to explain the menu, which I appreciated.

The owner is a total pro, been making coffee for ages. It was so cool to watch him work, super focused on every cup. My friends and I just hung out and enjoyed the show. A nice spot to chill.

Came for lunch and got the set with soba. The noodles were firm, sauce was good. But honestly, the main thing is the price. Under 700 yen for a main, rice, a side, and those handmade noodles? That's hard to beat these days.
