The squid ink stew was the standout. Deep, savory flavor, tender seafood. The green pasta had a nice bite, and the steak was cooked just right. A solid lunch course focused on taste.

Nice spot for a quiet meal alone. The modern decor is clean and comfortable. Had the grilled salmon set - the fish was cooked fine, a decent portion. Service was polite but a bit slow. Would go back.

Came here for a solo lunch. The hamburger steak was the real deal - juicy, with a savory demi-glace sauce. Perfect portion for one. The quiet corner spot made it a nice little escape.

The triple-delight eel rice bowl is pretty good. I liked trying it three ways, especially the ochazuke at the end.

The English menu was a lifesaver. I could finally understand what I was ordering. The staff pointed out a few popular dishes, which was helpful.

Service was quick even on a busy Saturday. They handled a spill at another table with real kindness.

The unagi was so plump and grilled over charcoal. The sauce wasn't too sweet, just right with the rice. A really nice surprise for my first time trying it here.

The view of Lake Kinrin from the window seat was so lovely. Just watching the water while having my matcha parfait made the whole afternoon really peaceful.

The chicken teppanyaki set was my first time trying it. The chicken was really juicy and cooked right in front of you, which was cool. A good way to try something local.

Been coming here for years. That beef rice bowl never disappoints, always the same comforting mix of flavors. It's the one thing I know I can count on.

The chicken katsu set was good. The batter stayed crispy, and the meat was tender. The toriten was fine, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

A chill L-shaped sushi counter run by a nice older chef. Fish was fresh, prices were fair. Just dropped in for a bite.

We managed to snag a private room for two. It was just us, quiet and relaxed. The seared scallop starter was nicely done, though the main course came out a bit slower than expected. Still, a good spot for a focused lunch.

Crocodile and chips was interesting. Quick bite, not something you see everyday.

The owner is so friendly, makes you feel right at home. The English menu was a nice touch, saved me from struggling with translations. Just a comfortable spot for a quiet meal.

The almond tofu dessert was the best part. The texture was incredibly smooth, not too sweet. It had a subtle, clean almond flavor that lingered. A really nice way to finish.

Nice that they let us bring our dog inside on a hot day. Staff were friendly and showed us pictures of their own pet.

Been coming here for years. The 7,000 yen course is my go-to. It's always the same high standard, every dish feels thoughtful. The secluded location is part of the charm, makes it feel like a little getaway.

Been coming here for years. The set meal with rice is just right—filling but not heavy. It's that consistency I keep coming back for.

Came on a busy Friday night, but the staff were really on top of things. My order was taken quickly and the food arrived faster than I expected. For how packed it was, I was impressed they kept the service so efficient.

The chawanmushi with wontons in the soup was so comforting today. Just the right warmth. The set meal with it felt like a good deal for lunch.

The wild vegetable platter was the star for me. Fresh, simple, but full of flavor. You can really taste the quality of the greens. A solid choice if you're looking for something light and tasty.
