I can't recommend The Marion enough for high tea! The atmosphere was breathtaking, and the food was exquisite. Perfect for a special celebration or a lovely afternoon with friends.

Had lunch here and the live music was a nice touch. A pianist and guitarist playing, nothing too loud, just a pleasant background. Made for a relaxed afternoon. The food was decent, though my salad was a bit overdressed.

Service was friendly and efficient even during a busy lunch rush. The waiter knew the menu well and suggested a nice local white wine that went perfectly with my grilled fish. They were happy to make a substitution for the side salad, too. A smooth experience.

The food was delicious, particularly the Fremantle octopus and sticky pork belly skewers, making it a great choice for a special occasion.

The cocktails here are pretty good and fairly priced. I had the Jungle Bird, which was a decent bitter option. The place gets a bit loud later in the evening, but it's fine for a casual drink.

Selected for Bars in Sydney

Luckily we were able to change our assigned seating, which was out the front near the road. Would have been OK but the day was getting hot… we changed to an inside table near the fireplace (not needed) and with a window to the outside, from which a nice breeze came. We enjoyed it all and my two senior lady friends loved the historic ambiance.

No. 5 of Clubs in Sydney

We were there to celebrate my daughter’s 18th and her first time at a pub and we chose the perfect venue. Staff were incredibly friendly, so too the other patrons which made for a fun night, even for us oldies. High praise to Hannah, who made the biggest impression. Her customer service skills were outstanding and she took care of us beautifully. Brilliant atmosphere, great food, fantastic night 🤩

Seated without having to wait. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delivered in good time. Meals were huge, and delicious.

The food was delicious as always! We all really enjoyed our meals and the entree buffalo wings were our favourite as usual! Mum loved her pork spareribs and my sister loved the chicken boscioli. They get that every time.

Great meals as always, the staff are super friendly and accommodating, kitchen staff do an amazing job! We dine here often and it never disappoints!
