Our Party of 8 thoroughly enjoyed Basalt Restaurant. The food was of a very high standard and every diner was extremely happy with their choices and the menu was well priced. The service was friendly, attentive and prompt and we would be more than happy to return to Basalt.

Service was nice and attentive. Staff were friendly, made us feel welcome. They checked in on us a couple of times without being overbearing.

Great spot, really welcoming vibe. Had the steak frites, cooked just right. Bit pricey for the neighbourhood, but you can taste the quality in the meat.

The non-alcoholic drinks menu was a real highlight. They had a good few options, more than just the usual sodas. My friend who doesn't drink was happy to have a proper choice.

Wood-fired pizza is a solid choice for a quick lunch. Crust is nice and crispy, toppings are fresh. Got mine in under 10 minutes.

Sweet potato fries are pretty good and crispy. The regular chips are decent, but the serving size is a bit small.

Loved that we could find a halal place to eat in the middle of hunter valley. The food was beyond what we expected. The raspberry chocolate desert was by far my favourite. We will definitely come back here with family and friends.

Loved the small secluded area, lovely ambience and the staff were fantastic. The chef did an amazing job with presentation and the flavours were outstanding. Well worth a visit.

Nice spot for a quick lunch. Staff were friendly and got my order out fast. The rustic vibe is cool, but it's a bit small inside. Got my burger in under 10 minutes, which is perfect for a workday break.

The lunch special at Piato was a delightful surprise! The lamb kofta was tasty and the Caesar salad was enjoyed thoroughly. The attentive staff and reasonable prices made our experience even better.

The fusion dishes are tasty! The king prawns and scallops in that Thai-style sauce were a real highlight. Perfect for sharing with friends over a long catch-up. It’s not aiming for traditional, but we all left happy and full.

Sunday lunch was fabulous. Great wine list. Atmosphere was comfortable indoors as very hot day. Music was not too loud so we could talk. Waiters were attentive. Food delicious. Thank you.

Service was spot on - friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Really makes a difference.

We had a lovely night and food beautiful. As it was cold where we were sitting the staff kindly moved us to another table.Staff super helpful!

The pizza was pretty good, thin crust and nice char. Carbonara was decent, not too heavy. Service was fine, they were quick with the water refills. A solid spot for a casual dinner.

A nice neighbourhood spot. I popped in for a late breakfast and the eggs were cooked just right. The staff were really friendly and made sure my coffee was topped up without me having to ask. A very relaxed visit.

Love stopping here after my morning runs. The coffee is always spot on, and the whole place just feels warm and cozy. It’s my little reward.

Always tasty food, and ordering on the tablet is a breeze. The house red they suggested was a nice, easy match for the meal.

Been coming here for years. The lamb shank is always fall-off-the-bone tender, and the gravy is rich without being too salty. That's why it's a reliable spot for me.

Very quick table service which was appreciated because we were going to a show. Felt like they knew that without being told. Food and drink very good and well priced.

Roti Canai with the eggplant and pumpkin curry is my go-to. The roti is flaky and perfect for soaking up the curry. The portion is generous for the price, really fills you up. I usually get it for a quick, satisfying lunch.

The free bread with their local olive oil was such a nice touch to kick things off! We were all chatting and dipping away before our mains even arrived. It just felt like a proper, relaxed catch-up spot.

Stunning flavours, presentation, service and ambience. A little overpriced for what we received, but worth every cent. We'll be back at some point. With thanks.

Easy to find via Google Maps, even tucked away in an alley. The place has a cozy, welcoming vibe. Had the grilled salmon for lunch – cooked well, decent portion. Service was prompt. Good for a business lunch near the CBD.

Only approx 10 other Diners in on a Sunday night. Service and ambience excellent and the food was so fresh and flavours were superb. We will most assuredly be going back - thanks guys :-)

Good spot right by the beach. Sat on the veranda for a business lunch, easy to get to. Food was solid, service was prompt. Exactly what you need for a reliable, no-fuss meal in Kiama.

The food was amazing, loved the squid ink pasta. We were so full that we couldn’t fit in the dessert but the lovely young waitress suggested that we can always do a takeaway, as I wanted so much to try their Tiramisu. So we did! One of the best Tiramisu we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to return.

The pork bone soup was so comforting, rich and the meat just fell off the bone. The raw prawns were incredibly fresh and sweet. A really satisfying bowl.

Service was friendly, coffee strong. Turkish eggs were spot on, just how I like 'em. The chai though... could've used a bit more oomph. Still, a solid spot for a quick bite.
