Delicious and good value food. Open kitchen design is good but otherwise dining room is quite basic with little, attempt at atmosphere. Service was good but think cafeteria type cutlery, crockery, glassware etc. All perfectly functional and given the great food (lamb rack and Bloody Mary prawn linguine) we'll be back to explore the menu further.
The staff, the service and the atmosphere were great. The main I wanted wasn't available, as were 2 others I would have preferred. The meal I settled on was the pork belly with vegetables and mash. The mash was dry and the pork was overmarinated to the point where it didn't taste like pork at all.Very disappointed.
Not a bad little place to go to. Local to a lot of the hotels. the apple crumble was divine until..... who puts sultanas in it :-) was still good anyway.
Lamb kofta was lumpy and fatty, barramundi was undercooked (despite asking for it to well done), and salad had little pumpkin. Had to remind staff to bring out our tonic water. Not a pleasant dining experience ????.
