Royal Hotel

Our party of six ordered six different main courses and all of them were delicious. There are options for additions for super-hungry people, but for the average person, the servings are generous and the prices reasonable. The staff were welcoming, obliging, cheerful and efficient. Lunch at this country hotel was a most enjoyable experience.

Friendly staff, excellent service, great atmosphere and the meals were delicious. Great size meal and value for money. No complaints at all, ten out of ten!

The food was pretty good but was very disappointed when 2 people in our party did not receive their food until half an hour after everyone else. Staff said they were short staffed and I sympathise with that but would rather everyone waited an extra half hour so that we could eat together. Will not go back.

first time at the royal it is an old but quaint pub the staff were very friendly and helped when our covid scanner was playing up six of us had lunch and our meals were very good would definitely go back
