Our free travel itinerary in Australia is to fly from Beijing to Perth via Hong Kong (Cathay Pacific), Perth to Melbourne (Qantas), Melbourne to Hong Kong (Cathay Pacific), and Hong Kong to Beijing (Air China), a total of 20 days. First stop: Perth (Reference knowledge: Perth is known as the world's "lonely" city, with no "neighbors" within more than 1,000 kilometers. It is located in the southwest corner of Australia, in an absolutely unique location, surrounded by the sea on three sides and backed by a vast desert. It is 2,700 kilometers away from the nearest big city, Adelaide, and the distance from Sydney, Melbourne and the capital Canberra is even farther, reaching about 3,000 kilometers away.) After a long flight, we arrived in Perth. The entry was very smooth. The border inspection officer was a warm, humorous and lovely middle-aged lady. She left us a very good first impression of Perth. Later, the driver who picked us up told us that Perth was once rated as the world's most friendly and livable city. The front desk of the hotel was also very friendly. After waking up naturally, we went out for a stroll. We lived in Perth CBD, and there was a very prosperous area outside. It was the end of June, the sun was blazing in Beijing, but here it was a chilly autumn. The sky was blue, the clouds were white, the air was fresh, the sun was bright, and the unfamiliar street scene made us feel novel. After wandering aimlessly for a while, we were hungry, so we bought some sushi from a street shop. It was very fresh and delicious! Then we went back to the hotel and ordered some meals. To be honest, the Caesar salad here is the best I have ever eaten! The flat white is also delicious, but not as good as the one I had in New Zealand! After dinner, Xiao Li suggested going to Kings Park and said that dinner would be at a very famous restaurant in the park (Fraser’s if I remember correctly). The two set out for Kings Park according to Google Maps, but they took a wrong road and walked further and further. They asked several locals before they found it, but it didn’t matter. They also enjoyed the city scenery along the way, which was also a valuable experience for us. (Reference: Kings Park is located west of Perth city, close to the University of Western Australia, and is one of the largest urban parks in the Southern Hemisphere. It overlooks the beautiful scenery of the entire Perth and Swan River, and is a natural resting place that Perth citizens particularly like. There are more than 6,000 species of flowers and plants planted and cultivated in the park, of which 3,000 are wildflowers unique to Western Australia, including the state flower "Kangaroo Paw Flower". The Wild Festival held here every year is a major event in Western Australia and the largest wildflower exhibition in the world, attracting tens of thousands of tourists to visit. There is an Aboriginal Cultural Art Museum in the park for people to visit, as well as a State War Memorial to commemorate the soldiers who died in the two world wars. The eternal flame in the square is to mourn the souls who died for the country.) We came a little late, and it felt like we hadn't walked much before it got dark. Xiao Li said he would come another day and go to dinner first. The restaurant is really well-deserved. The dishes are beautiful, fresh and delicious, and the desserts are simply amazing! The red wine is also great! After dinner, we followed the Google Maps to the hotel while enjoying the night view. Actually, Google Maps is not important. The CBD is brightly lit and very obvious in the dark night. Just keep walking towards it! ——To be continued——
