We found this place by accident but we went every day since then! We spent most of our time sitting in the coffee cart outside the shop. However there is an indoor area which can get busy at peak times. Lovely staff who gave great advice on the tram system!

Finally I had the chance to try the Michelin-certified Chez Dre in South Yarra. The lychee coconut cake is indeed as good as its reputation. It looks ordinary, but it is full of wonders! This kind of dessert, like a work of art, is simply refreshing.

St Ali | South Melbourne I wanted to eat pancakes last night. I searched on Zomato for a long time but couldn&#39;t find one I liked. So I came to St Ali this morning. The pancakes are thicker and fluffy. There is blueberry jam in the middle and a spoonful of non-sweet whipped cream. The Daddy is actually a big meat burger with sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs. The sauce is rich but not salty. The bread is Ciabatta. It has a slightly crispy and solid texture. I like it. ​

It&#39;s a very famous tram restaurant in Australia. Sitting inside an old tram is very stylish, but it&#39;s hard to reserve a seat. I made a reservation a month in advance, and the food is actually just so-so.

The Sunday pork roast was excellent. Pork was tender, perfect crackling and a huge selection of winter veg (Swede, potato, pumpkin, beetroot, turnip, sweet potato and broccolini). Gravy was homemade and super tasty. Yorkshire pudding was disappointing, that&rsquo;s the only negative. Service was excellent. Highly recommend the Palace Hotel for Sunday Roast.
