We breakfast here a lot when staying at the hotel, and usually go down for a nightcap or cuppa as well. The breakfast chef is amazing, she looks after our little coeliac wonderfully, and nothing is too much trouble. I haven't eaten in during evening for some time now, but Rise breakfast is always fantastic, lots of it, great range and cheap for guests. Love it.

Have been previously and always enjoyed the whole experience but our last visit was a such a disappointment that we won't return. The 2 staff working were amazing but I think they were run off their feet. The air conditioner was broken so it was a bit stuffy and hot. But they warned us when we booked and were given the choice to cancel. Friends went a few days later and said the same. Sorry guys, you used to be amazing but something is not working.

My husband & I have enjoyed coming coming to the Southbank Grill over the years for our date nights but unfortunately last night will be our last time. The restaurant has lost that special something and while my steak ($41 cheapest) was nicely cooked everything else was very disappointing. The menu was very simple with absorbent prices, the paint was peeling off the wall where I was seated and we had to pull the table out so my chair could fit. The staff where talking very loudly discussing the breakfast set up in the morning, ordering of stock and even discussing our wine and who put it on the bill. Just not the same!
