Red Emperor (Southgate) Chinese Restaurant

Although this is a relatively authentic Cantonese dish in Melbourne, it always feels a little lacking in wok flavor. Those who are familiar with Cantonese cuisine know what it is, it is like a soul. Maybe there is really no such big fire or such an iron wok in foreign countries? And the price here is really expensive. I guess one meal can be equivalent to three meals in China.

Came to this Chinese restaurant for lunch today with 3 other people, great view. Cozy environment, good food. Loved their steamed fish, so fresh, and all other dishes were very good. Steamed oysters had 3 different sauces, crabs had XO sauce. Paired with a couple of Tsingtao beers. Everything was great. Not your typical Chinese restaurant. Professional and great service. Will definitely go again. Will try Kangaroo next time

Southbank's old Chinese restaurant, along the Yarra River, you can enjoy the city lights on the other side of the river. It's a very nice Chinese restaurant

All you can eat yum cha in China town little Bourke st, Melbourne. It was excellent service. I have eaten at many yum cha places over the years all over the world. This place at Red emperor is the best one I have had so far. The dumplings were amazing and fresh. The menu was unbelievable. The price was 60 dollars per person and I will definitely be back!
