Lakers Tavern

Great lunch here on Melbourne Cup day. We had the burger special which was excellent value for money and try as we might, we couldn’t eat it all. Friendly staff- we will definitely come back again

We had a very enjoyable family meal at Lakers on Saturday night. The food was delicious and well-priced, and the service was very good. Particular thanks to our waitress Brie and the manager Tom, who were friendly and looked after us really well.

They made a small error with one of our meals but apologised immediately and offered a free dessert to make up for the mistake. Perfect customer service!

This was our second visit to this hotel and again, we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the drinks icy and the service great. Surprisingly, for a dining area as large as it is, the noise level is very reasonable and conversation easily heard.
