The original plan was to have lunch at Gasthof Franz Josef, the number one restaurant in the area, but it was packed. We found another restaurant, which is the restaurant of Hotel Peter, called Paul der Wirt, which is ranked 6th in the area.
Because the restaurant is located at a relatively high altitude, both the outdoor and window seats can enjoy the entire Lake St. Wolfgang very well, and the view is superb! Because of the good weather that day, Lake St. Wolfgang is like a blue gem, shining in the Austrian lake area. There are many lakes in our plan for this trip, but Lake St. Wolfgang is the only lake we encountered on a sunny day. Therefore, before we really started playing, I already had a very good impression of this place. The rain god finally went home to rest temporarily when we arrived in St. Wolfgang.
The decoration style of the restaurant is very fresh. We sat in the seats by the window filled with sunshine, lazily looking at the lake outside the window in a daze. I ordered strawberry juice, but I didn&#39;t expect it to be bottled. There is always a difference in taste between flavored juice and freshly squeezed juice.
I ordered a grilled meat combo for my main course, which was a big plate. The meat was well marinated and delicious, and carnivores could eat meat with great satisfaction. We also had hot vegetables for the first time in Europe, and finally we didn&#39;t have to eat cold salad leaves. There was also a big plate of American fries with ketchup. If I wasn&#39;t in a hurry, I could eat it for an entire afternoon.
After lunch, there was a great viewing point at the platform in front of the hotel. At that time, there were only two of us on the entire platform. It was the first time we saw Lake St. Wolfgang up close. The mountains were hazy, the lake was rippling, the sun was generous, and the rows of small houses were scattered along the lake. Compared with the overcrowded Hallstatt later, this place has the most essential lake and mountain scenery in the lake area, and it is more quiet and unique, but it has not become famous and attracted a large number of tourists. There are many small towns on the German-Austrian border that remind people of the saying: choose a city to live in for the rest of your life. St. Wolfgang is undoubtedly one of them.

St. Wolfgang is a small town with not many residents. It is estimated that the ratio of tourists to residents is about 50% each, so there are not many people on the streets of the town at night, but this restaurant is brightly lit~
