I booked on the fork, a very nice place in a small square on Via Piacenza. Friendly staff and fast service.
The menu offers many options plus off-menu options, all interesting.
We had warm octopus salad and seared calamari on chickpea cream, really good! Perfectly cooked!
Testaroli calamari and pistachio, good and plentiful, maybe a little too much garlic?

The space in the historic setting was beautiful, the service was attentive and very helpful with staff who spoke excellent English to assist with the menu, but the main thing is that the food was superb. From the amuse bouche dishes given as gifts from the chef, to the beautifully presented starters and mains using local produce and dishes with a twist on regional dishes. The meal was completed with a complimentary home made digestif created using local herbs and lemon. A gem of a restaurant, well worth taking the time to visit.Soho
