Loved the old-school Mombasa feel here. Coffee was solid, but the milkshakes really hit the spot on a hot day. Menu's huge though, took me forever to decide 😅

Stopped by for iftar the other evening. Food was solid, hit the spot after a long day. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Place gets busy but they kept things moving. Good enough for a quick bite when you're hungry.

Solid beef stroganoff. Group lunch, sat by the ocean. Food was good, nothing crazy. View did most of the heavy lifting. Place was a bit quiet for a Saturday, but fine. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're already in the area, it works.

Dinner on the converted dhow was a nice change of pace. The setting is what you're really paying for, and it delivers. Seafood was fresh, cooked properly. Service was fine—attentive enough without hovering. Only thing is it's a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd say it's decent for a special night out.

Been coming here for years and the consistency keeps me hooked. That grilled tilapia with the spicy mango salsa? Still my go-to. They poured a decent South African Chenin Blanc that cut through the heat nicely. Saturday karaoke gets loud, but the staff already know my usual order. Solid spot for a relaxed evening.

My first time at the restaurants and I was fascinated by the pleasant ambience of the cave restaurant. The food was delicious and was attended to by Jamal who possessed amazing customer service experience . I would definitely recommend the place to people or person who would like to experience a cave restaurant with a moderate ambience . Attached is a picture of Jamal preparing the delicious flambé dessert 🍮.

Stopped by for a quick bite and honestly the mint lemonade caught me off guard—so refreshing, not too sweet. Shazz took care of us, super attentive without hovering. Place had a decent vibe too. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but that’s on me for the timing. Solid spot if you’re in the area.

Came here on a whim and honestly the grilled fish was the highlight—fresh, flaky, came with this tangy sauce I’m still thinking about. Place was buzzing, live band was a nice touch. Service was fine, nothing crazy. Portion felt a bit small for the price though. Would go back if I’m craving that fish again 🐟

The food took a while to come out, so don’t show up starving or in a rush. The mahamri were honestly the best I’ve had in a long time. Portions are big for what you pay. Also noticed they support the local community center, which is nice to see. Just come with time to spare.

Nice spot for a quick lunch. Outdoor seating was quiet, not too crowded. Staff got me seated fast and the fresh juice hit the spot. Prices fair for the area. Would stop by again if I'm nearby.

The cocktails were the best part honestly. Purity knew what she was doing and picked out some solid options for us. Pork chops came out cooked just right too. Only thing is the seating area felt a bit tight, could barely move my chair without bumping into the next table. But the drinks made up for it. 🍸

The gardens are really well kept and the pool area is lovely. Staff were friendly too. Just wish the loungers had a bit more cushion, my back felt it after an hour.

Nice spot tucked away by the beach. Food was decent but nothing crazy. Prices a bit steep for what you get. Service felt a little cold though.

The cappuccino here is genuinely good—rich, strong, not burnt like most places. I only stopped for coffee, didn't try the food, but that one cup was worth it. Outdoor seating exists, though I didn't really care about that. If you're picky about your espresso, this spot delivers.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and that pond view really sets the place apart. Got the spring rolls and fried noodles — both were solid, portions decent for the price. Staff didn't keep me waiting long either. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

The grilled tilapia was really good—fresh and cooked just right. Prices are a bit steep for a casual spot though. I’d come back for the fish, but maybe not order as much next time. The dining room felt a little plain, but it didn’t bother me much since the food was the highlight.

The veggie dishes here tasted properly Indian, not watered down. Portions were decent too. Only thing, the seating felt a bit cramped but the staff was patient with us taking our time.

Watched the chef work right in front of me. Sushi was legit, fresh, no complaints. Place has a good vibe, not too loud. Quick bite before heading back. Price is fair for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Picked my meat at the counter and they grilled it fresh. Lamb was spot on, prawns too. Ugali and kachumbari tasted proper homemade. Prices fair for what you get.

Decent mishkaki and that familiar Mombasa taste. Prices are a bit steep compared to other places, but it's still a solid spot.

The grilled halloumi sandwich was really good—crispy and salty just right. Staff actually remembered me from my last visit and asked how things went. That kind of attention doesn't happen often.

The drum welcome caught me off guard but in a good way. Watching the teppanyaki chef cook right at our table was the highlight—so much skill in those knife moves. Food came out neat and well-plated. Place felt calm, not chaotic like some grill spots. Only thing is it took a bit to get our drinks, but the show made up for it.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed a glass of their house red to go with the grilled fish. Solid choice, actually. Food’s simple but cooked properly, no fuss. Place gets busy around noon, so expect a bit of a wait. Still, one of the better spots in Mombasa for a relaxed meal.
