The BBQ pork taquitos here are the reason I keep coming back. They're always perfectly crisp, and the pork filling is just the right balance of smoky and tender. Honestly, it's the one thing I order every single time.

The staff here are so lovely, especially with kids. Ruby and Daisy were really sweet with my little one, making her smile. Laura and Leah were also friendly and helpful. It's nice to see a team that genuinely seems to enjoy their work and connects with guests. Makes for a relaxed meal.

Perfect for a quick bite before work. Got the breakfast plate, added black pudding. Food's fresh, good portion for the price. Free coffee with Ikea Family before 9am is a nice perk. Gets the job done.

Been coming here for lunch for ages. The thali and wrap are always spot on, and the service is consistently quick and friendly, even when it's quiet. That's what keeps me coming back.

A really nice spot to work from for a few hours. The staff are super friendly and never made me feel rushed, even when I was just nursing a coffee. Good vibes for getting some writing done.

Popped in for a late lunch. The Juicy Lucy burger was solid – cheese actually oozes out when you bite into it. Staff were quick and chill. Place has a nice, warm vibe.

We've been coming here for years, and it's the staff that keep us coming back. They're always so friendly and attentive. My table was ready exactly when I booked it, and they remembered I prefer a booth. Just makes everything so much easier.

Came early to grab a table with a plug and get some work done. Ordered three dishes for a quick lunch. Everything came out fast and tasted good. Perfect for a focused solo bite.

Butternut curry was spot on. Creamy, just the right heat. The 2-for-1 espresso martini deal was a nice bonus. Interior’s lovely too, despite the street works.

Been coming here for years, and it's always solid. The owner remembered I like watching the matches and got me sorted with a decent table again. Food's still good for the price.

The house-brewed pale ale here is the standout. It’s got a really crisp, hoppy bite that cuts through, not too heavy. Perfect with the salted nuts they put out. The stout was a bit too sweet for my taste, though.

Charlie and Lyla were great hosts. The music was spot-on, really added to the vibe. I had a great time with their house red, it was a surprisingly good match for the small plates we ordered. A fun night out.

The milkshakes are the star here. A proper, thick shake that really hit the spot with the burger. Fun spot.

The service was so friendly and quick, it really put me at ease. The whole place just had a good, relaxed vibe that made the evening really pleasant.

Came for the cozy family-run vibe and it delivered. The staff were so attentive, really made you feel looked after. But honestly, for the portion sizes, the prices felt a bit steep. The main I ordered was tasty, just left wishing there was a bit more on the plate for what I paid.

Valentine was so patient with our big group. Food was spot on, as always. She handled the special occasion chaos without a single hiccup. Really appreciated that.

Came for the Thai side of the menu. The green curry had a really nice depth of flavour, proper kick to it. Pad thai was solid, noodles had good texture. The pub classics looked good on other tables too. Decent spot for a casual meal.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Their Neapolitan pizza is legit, just like I had in Italy. Got the margherita, thin crust with fresh mozzarella. Came out fast, which is key for me. A bit pricey for the size, but hits the spot.

Came for a late lunch with a friend. That mushroom baguette was the star – really flavourful and the bread was perfect. The canal-side spot is just lovely when the sun's out. A nice, relaxed find.

A real find in the city centre. I was so focused on the hog and apple pie. The filling was packed with flavour, and the pastry was just right—not too heavy. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The atmosphere was a nice surprise too, very cosy.

visited for a birthday lunch with my family and friends and had a lovely afternoon i for sure will recommend for large parties. service was great and they were patient with us. I also called ahead and suggested if we could purchase drinks at the bar as some drink more than others which was fine. this made the final bill not seem so daunting to split!!

Solid spot. Food's got flavour, looks nice on the plate. Staff are on it, checking in without being annoying. Cozy vibe, just a bit dim for my liking. Good for a low-key dinner.

Marta was super helpful with the menu. She suggested the pasta special and it was spot on. Made the whole dinner easy and relaxed.

Huge menu, loads to choose from. We went for the breakfast quesadilla and the Miami brunch - both were spot on and didn't break the bank. Perfect for a chilled catch-up with mates.

The veggie curries are the main draw here. The lentils and cabbage were fresh and had a good depth of flavour. The injera was just right, soft and spongy, to soak everything up. A solid choice for a simple, tasty meal.

Lovely garden for a catch-up with friends in central Reading. Plenty of seating, which is a real plus.

Graduation party went smoothly. The manager was attentive and the staff kept things moving. Food was pretty good.

Been ordering takeaway from here for a while now. The portion sizes are always decent for the price, especially the veggie options. It's my go-to when I just want something filling without spending too much.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Reading, with a pleasant atmosphere and great food that keeps us coming back for special celebrations.
