What a fabulous place, excellent service from Sally at the butcher counter, she was so helpful, giving us lots of advice and information.Very enjoyable meal, in a pleasant setting.

I took my daughter for lunch as a school holiday treat and we had a lovely meal. She loved the salad cart and choice of children’s meals.

The pool was a nice surprise - properly heated, which is a must for me. Our little one splashed around happily for ages. A solid spot for a relaxed family afternoon.

Always great food, fantastic service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended Set in a beautiful building with a great bar area as well as well maintained gardens that are lovely to sit out in the summer months

Mason was a great server, really friendly. They let us bring some decorations and didn’t mind a bit of extra noise. The chilli prawns were spot on.

The fish and chips were spot on, really fresh and crispy. The karage chicken from the sharing menu was a nice surprise too.

The signature burger was spot on. What really made it for me was the house red they suggested - a nice, earthy Pinot Noir that cut through the richness perfectly. A solid pairing. The burger itself was juicy and well-seasoned, just how I like it. Been a minute since I enjoyed one this much.

The Sticky Pig pizza with chilli oil is a real winner. Service was lovely and attentive on a quiet afternoon.

Service is always quick, food arrives fast. I appreciate that the ingredients taste fresh, especially in the salads. The desserts are a nice, light finish. Prices are fair for the quality you get.

Been here a few times. They do a nice little dessert if it's your birthday, on the house. Noticed it for a couple of other tables too. Decent spot for that sort of thing.

The steak sampler was tasty, but honestly, the different cuts all felt pretty similar. The peppercorn sauce on the side was a nice touch. For the price, I was hoping for a clearer distinction between them. The chips and onion rings were solid though.

Been going here for years, their Sunday roast is the real deal. The beef was spot on, loads of veg, and plenty of gravy. It's a proper feed for the price.

A classic thatched pub in a lovely village. The inside is really nicely done - they've kept the old feel but it doesn't feel dated. It was spotless and so cosy, especially with the fire lit on a cold afternoon. Just a really nice place to sit.

Went for a late lunch. The menu had plenty of options, which was great as my friend is vegan. She found a few things she liked. My pasta portion was decent for the price, though.

Service was spot on. Staff were really attentive, checked in just the right amount. Made for a relaxed evening.

Perfect spot for our group dinner. Plenty of space to spread out, and the lively buzz was just right. The staff handled our big table smoothly. I was impressed by their wine list – found a nice Malbec that paired well with the shared plates. A solid choice for a relaxed evening out.

The front garden is a total sun trap. Grabbed a pint out there on a sunny afternoon and it was just the spot. Could've sat for hours. Nice little escape.

Such a welcoming, no-frills pub. It's always buzzing with a mix of students and locals, which gives it a great vibe for catching up with friends. The bar staff are young and super friendly, which really makes a difference. A proper spot for a relaxed evening.

Tried their roast. It’s the best thing on the menu, honestly. Juicy, crispy skin, proper gravy. The rest was fine, but I’d go back just for that.

The mixed grill is huge, easily for two or three. The adana kebab was the standout for me – so flavourful and juicy. The rest was good too, but that one really hit the spot.

The BBQ pork taquitos here are the reason I keep coming back. They're always perfectly crisp, and the pork filling is just the right balance of smoky and tender. Honestly, it's the one thing I order every single time.

The staff here are so lovely, especially with kids. Ruby and Daisy were really sweet with my little one, making her smile. Laura and Leah were also friendly and helpful. It's nice to see a team that genuinely seems to enjoy their work and connects with guests. Makes for a relaxed meal.

Perfect for a quick bite before work. Got the breakfast plate, added black pudding. Food's fresh, good portion for the price. Free coffee with Ikea Family before 9am is a nice perk. Gets the job done.

A really nice spot to work from for a few hours. The staff are super friendly and never made me feel rushed, even when I was just nursing a coffee. Good vibes for getting some writing done.

Popped in for a late lunch. The Juicy Lucy burger was solid – cheese actually oozes out when you bite into it. Staff were quick and chill. Place has a nice, warm vibe.

Came early to grab a table with a plug and get some work done. Ordered three dishes for a quick lunch. Everything came out fast and tasted good. Perfect for a focused solo bite.

Been coming here for years, and it's always solid. The owner remembered I like watching the matches and got me sorted with a decent table again. Food's still good for the price.
