Nice to have a quieter table on a busy Saturday. The grilled octopus starter was decent, but the real star was the sommelier's wine suggestion. It paired beautifully with the dish, really lifted the whole thing. A bit pricey for the portion, but that pairing made it worthwhile.

Been coming here for years, even after the reopening. The menu hasn't changed, which is exactly what I wanted. That classic lamb curry still hits the spot every single time. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back.

Stopped by this family-run Italian place on a whim. The pasta special today was a simple carbonara. Tasted just like something you'd get in a nonna's kitchen. Really hit the spot.

Ella was our server and really attentive. The manager was also hands-on, helping the team. Food was good, but the portions felt a bit small for the price. A bit more on the plate would've made it feel like better value.

Rowan was very attentive during our son's birthday dinner. He handled the large group well, kept drinks refilled, and was efficient without being intrusive. Made the evening run smoothly.

Stopped by for breakfast. The full English was spot on - crispy bacon, proper sausages, eggs just right. Coffee kept coming. Honestly the best hotel breakfast I’ve had.

Good portions for the price, and a huge menu to choose from. The vibe was just right—really relaxed and friendly.

Came for the afternoon tea with friends. The little savoury tarts were so good, and the cheesecake that looked like a flower pot was a fun surprise! A really nice spot for a long catch-up.

Alan runs a lovely spot, and the pizza with salad in the middle was spot on. The booths were really comfortable, which made for a relaxed visit.

The upstairs room was perfect for our wedding meal. Jane helped us plan everything, and Katie and the team were so friendly on the day.

The full English here is spot on. I always look for places that use free-range eggs, and theirs were cooked just right. A solid start to the day.

The Sunday roast was still available at 6pm, which was a nice surprise. The vegetables were really fresh and perfectly cooked.

Food was spot on. The pasta had a lovely texture, and the sauce was just right - not too heavy. Service was friendly, they didn't rush us. Prices felt fair for what you get. A solid meal.

The fennel salami and Tomme cheese sandwich was a real find. The bread had this perfect, crisp crust that just gave way. For under a fiver, it felt like a little treat. Romsey's lucky to have this spot.

The lemon cake was a great vegan option, and they packed it so carefully for takeaway. The wine list had a nice pairing suggestion for it too.

Generous portions and the stuffed paratha is a real winner. Arrived steaming hot, which was a nice touch.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. The full English breakfast was spot on, really hit the spot. The room was clean and cosy, and the old building itself is lovely. Felt very comfortable.

Popped in before the lunch rush. The eggs benedict on sourdough was spot on. Coffee's lovely, just wish they did a bigger cup.

Stopped here on a whim after the M4. The duck starter was really good, and the beef medallions were cooked just right. Staff were lovely, even helped us move from inside to outside when we asked. A solid find.

Service was lovely, and the ambiance was nice. They gave warm towels between courses and a mint at the end, which were thoughtful touches.

Been coming here for years, and the outdoor seating is a big reason why. When the sun's out, it's just a great spot to unwind. The space never feels cramped, even when it's busy. Always consistent.

Been coming here for years, and the lunch sets are still the main reason. That salmon sushi combo with the karaage and gyoza – it's always fresh, always hits the spot. Just a solid, reliable deal.

Popped in for a late breakfast. The food was fresh and well-prepared. Their iced coffee was spot on—really hit the mark with a full, rich flavour that paired nicely with the meal. Solid value for what you get.

The lobster and prawns on the seafood platter were fantastic. Their house white wine was a perfect match for the oysters.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Burger was juicy, cooked just right. Good choice of sauces too. Got my order in under 10 minutes. Exactly what I needed.

Been coming here for years. They always have a good range of local brews on tap. The pear cider is my usual, crisp and not too sweet. It's a solid local for a pint.

Been here a few times. The burgers are decent, nothing fancy, but they're exactly what you'd expect for the price. Portion's fair, you get a decent plate of chips with it. Does the job for a casual bite.

Popped in for lunch, didn’t book. The place is tiny, we were lucky to get a table. The chocolate lava cake was the highlight, still warm and gooey inside. Staff were really nice about our toddler making a bit of a mess. Would book next time though.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our diamond, 60 years, wedding anniversary. The food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. They sat us by the window and even made our serviettes into roses. We were treated really well and special.
