Lucian was a great host, very welcoming and attentive. The burgers were very good, making for a lovely experience on a sunny day.

Popped in for a pint while waiting for my train. Staff were really sound, had a proper laugh with them. The location is spot on, right outside the station.

The food is consistently good, which is what keeps me coming back.

The kids' activity packs were a nice touch. Kept the little ones busy while we waited for our mains. Service was prompt, food was solid. Good for a family meal.

A family-run Italian spot with a nice grappa list. The chairs were surprisingly comfortable for a longer dinner.

Loved the old-world feel here. The wood beams and the open fire are so cozy, perfect for a quiet pint. Beer selection was solid. Just a really nice, relaxed spot.

The staff handled our group of 13 with ease. The wine list had some nice options that went well with the festive curry.

The staff were so lovely with our big group! The manager kept checking in, and they handled our separate bills without any fuss. Made it a really easy night out with friends. The space is nice and bright after the reno too.

The staff were so friendly and attentive. They handled our large group with ease, and even prepared a special dish for a dietary need without any fuss. It made the whole evening very relaxed.

The duck breast was a proper rare, so tender. Michael was spot on with the service, knew when to check in. A solid meal.

The steak and ale pie was so good, the meat just fell apart. My crispy Thai beef salad was spot on - pink in the middle with this really tasty sauce. Perfect for a chilled dinner with mates.

Hubert was brilliant with the kids, really patient. Food was spot on, the steak was cooked just right. He made it a relaxed evening for us.

The Royal Approval ale from Windsor and Eton brewery was a really nice pint. Perfect for a chilled catch-up with friends, and the price was decent too. We ended up staying for a couple!

The gnocchi was the star for me. So light and pillowy, but still rich. The whole plate looked like a little piece of art. Just a lovely, quiet lunch.

A lovely old pub with a proper log fire. The atmosphere is nice and cosy, perfect for a quiet pint with a friend. The decor feels authentic. It was a bit busy on a Saturday evening, but still a pleasant spot.

I had a delightful experience at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for a special evening out. Highly recommend the Achar chicken!

Christmas lunch here was solid. Service was efficient, our waiter Ashton handled everything promptly. Food was fine, nothing extraordinary but it did the job for a group booking. Good for a straightforward holiday meal.

Service was impressively quick even on a packed Saturday night. The seasonal burger was decent, just needed a bit more seasoning for my liking. Everything else hit the spot.

Ordered via the app, super easy. Food came fast. Got the burger and a steak. Both were cooked just right. The portions were decent for what we paid, no complaints there.

The service at The Nags Head is outstanding! Daniel was incredibly friendly and provided great recommendations on wines. His attentiveness made our visit memorable, and I can't wait to return!

The pie selection is fantastic, and the beer list is huge. I had the 'Mothership' with mash and peas. The space itself is really nice - high ceilings and big windows make it feel bright and open, even when it's busy. A solid spot in the centre of town.

Been coming here for years, always bring the dog. It's just nice to know there's a spot by the canal where we can both relax after a long walk. Parking nearby is a bonus, means it's easy to pop in.

Been coming here for years, and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. The food always tastes fresh, never feels like it's been sitting around. It's just a solid, reliable spot, especially when you're coming off the train.

Cozy spot, proper plates and menu service, a nice change from the usual kebab place. The house-baked bread was really good. But for the price, I expected a bit more filling in the kebab itself. Portion felt a little light.

Been coming here for years. The pizza's always fresh and tastes like the real deal, not like those chain places.

Came for a group dinner. Kobie and Aaron were really on it, kept everything moving. Food was tasty, no complaints there. Just a solid, easy night out.
