Popped in for a weekend brunch with my mates. The bubble and squeak was spot on, really hit the spot. Staff were lovely and chatty, didn't feel rushed at all. Perfect for a lazy catch-up.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. Our server knew the menu inside out, suggested a few things I hadn't tried before. Just feels reliable, you know? That's why I keep coming back.

Nice spot for a drink after a riverside walk. The house red was a surprisingly good match for the cosy vibe.

Waitress was excellent made the visit very nice also the Doombar ale was on for a change good all round food was excellent chefs nice and polite well done all

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, complemented by friendly and attentive staff. Really enjoyed the food. Thank you very much

Booked a large group for a birthday. They gave us a private room, which was perfect for the occasion. The staff were really attentive and made everything run so smoothly.

Six of us spent New Year’s Eve having a truly delicious meal in a really relaxed atmosphere. Matt our server was great and made sure we had everything we needed. A big shout out to the barman - the pineapple spritz was a delight! When we had finished our meal we moved into the bar area and saw in the New Year with some live music (excellent guitarist!). Make this your choice for next New Year - we will certainly be back. Thanks to all at The Mill!

Second visit, just as lovely as the first. The staff were so kind when my friend's train was delayed - they kept the kitchen open late and even brought us a glass of wine while we waited. A really nice touch for a chilled evening with friends.

Love the vibe in this old country pub! It's got that cosy, lived-in feel, but still feels fresh and clean. Perfect for a catch-up with friends – the tables are nicely spaced so you can actually hear each other talk. Always seems to have a good crowd, which adds to the atmosphere.

Nice spot to bring the dog. The courtyard is lovely, even when it's a bit chilly.

The pasta was clearly homemade and you could taste the quality of the ingredients. Good value for that.

Always a nice vibe here, especially on weekends. They have sports on and live music, makes it feel really lively. The staff are friendly and it's just a comfortable spot to relax for a bit.

The staff here were so nice. They remembered my name from the reservation and checked in just the right amount. Felt very looked after without being crowded.

Stopped by for a takeaway char siu rice. Partner really liked it, said the pork was spot on. Quick and easy, just what we needed.

Roast dinner was solid. Massive portion of meat, really tender. All the trimmings there too. Good value for what you get.

Authentic Mumbai flavours. Tried the sabudana vada and the pizza bomb - both were unique and had good flavour. The chai here is excellent, probably the best I've had locally. A solid spot for a quick, genuine bite.

The bao buns at brunch were the standout. The bun itself was lovely and soft, the pork filling was savoury and rich. The crispy apple fritter inside was a clever touch, added a nice texture. Really enjoyed them.

Been coming here for years. The Plucky Pheasant burger is the one I keep ordering. The beef is solid, and that chilli jam with the cheddar just works. Comes with proper crispy chips and a bit of salad. Does the job.

The Adana lamb was so fresh and juicy. I really appreciate that they use quality ingredients. The platter with mezze was a nice, balanced meal for two. The flatbread was a lovely touch.

The mixed grill was spot on, each cut paired beautifully with a bold red. The mango chutney is a must.

Been here a few times. They’ve got a solid selection of Scotch, which is nice. The artwork on the walls is for sale, which is a bit different for a pub. Got the discount from the other place, so that helped. It’s fine for a casual pint.

Perfect for a pre-show meal. The Thai classics have some fun twists, and the portions are huge. Their wine list had a few nice options that paired well with the spice.

Came here on a whim for dinner. The fish and chips were spot on – crispy batter, flaky fish. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe. Seating was comfy. A solid meal.

Nice spot for a post-walk pint. The dining room's cosy, and the staff were lovely. Menu looked good, though I wish they had a proper wine list to go with the pies. Still, a solid local pub.

Portions were generous, and the food was cooked perfectly. They packed up our leftovers and even included extra bread, which was a nice touch. The house red was a solid, uncomplicated pairing for the hearty meal.

Sunday carvery. Massive portions of meat, really solid. Self-serve roast potatoes and veg are a good idea. Gets a bit hectic around the food station though.

Daniel was so helpful explaining the dishes as they arrived. His wine suggestion was just right.

Great food in a more casual historical pub setting. The food standard is very much fine dining (genuine "gastro" pub), and we really enjoyed our lunch.

Portions are generous, and the steak selection is quite good. Everything was cooked nicely and arrived quickly. A solid choice for a straightforward meal.

Elliot and the team were amazing from the moment we entered. we were a bit early but had hungry children with us and they accommodated us. The food quality was amazing, highly recommend chicken shish. The waitress was really good with the kids who had chicken and chips and loved the garlic dip. The chef even came down to see us. Will definitely be back.
