I had a fantastic experience at this rooftop restaurant! The ambiance is relaxing, and the service was top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit special.

No. 4 of Bars in George Town

The fried chicken was crisp, and the bingsu was a refreshing finish. Menu's a bit limited, but their house lager paired surprisingly well with the chicken. Would've liked a few more drink options to explore.

Pulled pork burger was solid. Juicy and not dry. Sat outside, much quieter than inside. Kids' play area looked decent for families.

Service was on point at the buffet. Plates cleared fast and drinks topped up without asking. Made it easy.

They serves verity of roti bakar, their Roti Bakar with Cheese was amazing, didn't really like the roti canai telur goyang with cheese. Price was pretty reasonable, have a try!

Been coming here for years. The garden is still lovely, and the welcome is always warm. Food quality has stayed pretty consistent, which is nice. A solid choice for a relaxed meal.

Gula Melaka crepe cake was the standout. The layers were distinct and the flavor was spot-on. Ice cream scoop for RM1 is a steal.

The banana leaf set lunch. The chicken varuval was the standout, really well-spiced and tender. The fried fish was fresh and crispy. That's what I come for.

The pancake breakfast set was pretty good. Pancakes had a nice eggy flavour, and the plate was well put together with eggs done just right, crispy bacon, and a decent homemade sausage. The maple syrup went well with it. Coffee was fine, though a bit weak for my taste.

The Basque burnt cheesecake was the standout. Deep, rich flavor, and that perfect burnt top. The brownie was good, but honestly, the cheesecake stole the show.

The chicken broth macaroni was richer than the ones I've had in Hong Kong cafes. My kid loved it, kept asking for more. Broth had a nice, thick consistency.

Simple menu on the chalkboard, which I like. Ordered the Iberico pork. It was grilled just right, very flavorful. Portion was decent for the price. They were a bit short-staffed, but service was still friendly.

The portions here are generous for the price. I got the nasi lemak set and the chicken was a full leg, not just a small piece. Couldn't finish it all. Good for a filling lunch.

Mizi hasn’t changed, still a reliable spot. I like the variety of soups, especially the broccoli one. The set meal with soup, drink, and ice cream is a good deal. Just wish the fish was a bit better, but the grilled chicken was nice.

Paulaner on tap! Hard to find elsewhere. Grabbed a quick pint with the schnitzel during lunch. Perfect match for the heavy food. A bit pricey, but hits the spot.

The chicken curry and chapati combo is solid. Good portion for the price. Service was quick even during lunch hour. The sea view is a nice bonus.

Booked ahead for a Friday night, which was a good idea. The place is quite small, but they handle the seating fine. Had the grilled fish, it was pretty good. A bit noisy when it got full, but overall a decent meal.

Been coming here for years. The potato naan is the reason I keep coming back. It's always soft, the filling is just right, not too heavy. That consistency is what matters to me.

It's loud, but in a good way. Feels like a big family dinner, everyone's talking and laughing. The noise actually makes it feel more authentic, not less.

The place is spotless and has this really cool, chill vibe. I liked how the AC was just right, not too cold. It's a nice spot to just hang out and eat.

The owners are always at the counter, prepping everything fresh. You can see it. Service is friendly and direct, which I appreciate. Makes the place feel reliable for a quick, solid meal.

Cozy place with nice Peranakan antiques. Feels like eating at a friend's well-kept home. Good for a quiet business lunch. Food was decent, service was prompt.

Got the brisket for a quick lunch. Solid Texas-style bark on the meat, which is hard to find around here. Came out fast, perfect for a quick bite. Portion was decent.

My regular Thai spot in Penang. Flavors are always on point, ingredients taste fresh. Had the green curry and pad thai again last week, solid as usual. Convenient location for a quick business lunch.

If you're looking for a place to celebrate, The Glasshouse is ideal! The food is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. The ambiance is perfect for gatherings, making it a memorable experience.
