They were out of curry chicken, so I got the Nasi Lemak instead. The rice was super fragrant, and the sambal had just the right kick. Really hit the spot for a first try.

The char siew here is pretty good. Got that nice balance of fat and lean, and you can actually taste a hint of charcoal smoke in it. Makes it more interesting than the usual.

Pre-ordered their signature rum fruit cake. It was so good, my friends finished it the same day I brought it over! Really moist and the flavour was just right. Perfect for sharing 😊

The char hor fun had that smoky wok hei I was hoping for. Paired it with their strong local coffee, which cut through the richness nicely. A bit pricey, but the wait was justified for that flavour.

Been coming here for years. Their honey-fried drumsticks are still spot on, crispy outside, juicy inside. The bottled sour and spicy soup is good too, not too sour, just right. A solid choice for a quick dinner.

The chicken is decent, and adding veggies makes it a more complete lunch. Simple spot, does the job.

Wan remembered my usual order without me even saying it! That kind of personal touch is so nice. Kamsod was super friendly too. Makes you feel right at home. The service here really stands out.

The sambal on the chicken rice is spicy, not sweet. Just right.

Delicious pastries and a very cozy environment! Nice place to hangout and spend a lazy afternoon. One less star for unfriendly staff.

The fried chicken milk toast was good. I liked how they had free water available, it's a small thing but makes a difference when you're just sitting and chatting for a while.

Good spot for early breakfast when options are limited. Had the nutmeg drink - a local specialty, quite interesting. Food is decent, prices fair. Service was efficient.

Been coming here for years. The grilled chicken bagel is my go-to. Always juicy, always stuffed properly. That's why I keep coming back.

Gem of a wanton Mee stall. serves old school style of wantan mee. char siew is lean and flavourful.

Been here a few times. Food's the real deal, not like those tourist traps nearby. Had the grilled fish last night, simple but done right. Good spot if you want a proper meal without the fuss.

The prawn noodle stall was really nice, they made my soup spicy just how I wanted. Good spot for a quiet Saturday lunch.
