We came to Ben Ran to celebrate our father's birthday! Although the food was delicious, we were dismayed by the lack of cleanliness in the VIP room. As it was a VIP room, we expected there to be clean but we had to rewash some cutleries because it was dirty. Everytime we needed help, we had to walk out to ask for servers as well.

That soft shell crab burger with the "dirty cheese" sauce is so good. The crab was perfectly crispy.

Mushroom soup in the food court. Made from scratch, not powder. Aromatic and not greasy. That's the real deal right there.

Loved the vibes and the charming interior. However, the price and the size of the kuih were absolutely appaling. Kuih was the size of my thumb! It's a complete tourist trap and they also don't exactly taste amazing. You are better off buying from a local market - bigger portion, cheaper and delicious.

Came here for a casual catch-up. The ramen broth is super rich and flavourful, maybe a touch salty for some. Loved the springy noodles though! Perfect for a quick, filling meal with friends.

Been coming here for years. Always the same generous portions, fresh food. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back. A bit cramped inside, but that's part of the charm for a family-run spot.

The bird's nest soup here is really something. You can tell they put a lot of care into preparing it—the texture is just right. I tried the mango version too, which was a nice, lighter twist. A solid choice if you're in the mood for it.

Came for the fresh ingredients, they really do taste it. Got the small portion size, perfect for trying a few different things without overdoing it. The fish was particularly good.
