Came for brunch with the family. Kids had fun in the garden while we waited. Staff were friendly, looked after the little ones well. Relaxed spot for families.

Stopped here for a quick bite and honestly the toasted veg sandwich was better than I expected. Coffee was solid too. Place is tucked into a garden so it feels quiet and private, not like the usual busy spots. Staff were friendly without hovering. Only thing is it took a little while to get the food, but I wasn't in a rush. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Food’s solid and the vibe is cosy, service was on point too. Just felt the R25 for hot water with lemon was a bit much. Also not keen on the auto 12.5% tip suggestion.

Tried the homemade burger patties — really good, juicy and well seasoned. The staff were friendly and checked in without hovering. Place was a bit busy when I went, but they found me a comfortable spot near the window. Solid choice if you want a relaxed meal without fuss.

The flat white here was properly made, not too hot, good crema. I sat by the window and just watched the sea for a while, no rush. Pastry was fine, flaky enough. Service was friendly, didn't hover. Only thing is the seats are a bit hard after an hour, but that's minor. I'd come back for the coffee alone.

Stopped by for a chocolate croissant and honestly it was still warm. Flaky, buttery, the chocolate actually melted through it. Coffee was decent too. Place has that laid-back beach feel, easy to just sit and chill for a while. Wish I lived closer, honestly.

Food’s still great and the owner genuinely cares about the place. Just be ready to wait a bit when it’s packed. Worth it though.

Staff handled our table well, even with the kids being fussy. Didn’t feel rushed, which was nice. Food came out hot and the portions were decent for the price. Place was a bit noisy but that’s expected for a family spot. Solid option if you’re in the area and need something reliable.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. Staff were super friendly, and the flat white was solid. Food looked good too, though I only grabbed a toastie. Prices are honestly surprising for the quality. Manager came over to check if everything was alright, which was a nice touch. Probably the best spot I've hit in Durban so far.

The owner really knows what they're doing. I've stopped by a few times now and the food is always fresh, properly cooked. The cakes are dangerously good though, I can't resist them. Prices are fair for the quality. Just wish they had more veggie sides on the menu, but that's a small thing.

The hot chocolate here is seriously good. Rich, not too sweet, the kind that actually warms you up properly. I came for that mainly and it didn't disappoint. The rest of the menu was okay, nothing to write home about, but that drink alone makes me think about returning. Just wish they had more seating, it got pretty crowded.

Stopped by for an early meeting and grabbed a coffee while I waited. Place is central and easy to find, which was a win. The waiter was a bit flat when I asked about the menu, but the coffee itself was solid. Quiet enough to actually think. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.
