Great spot for a Lauterbrunnen base - literally 2 mins from the train station and the cable car. Parking was a bonus. Price is a bit steep for a 2-star, but you're paying for the location really. 😅

The grilled octopus was the standout — tender, smoky, just the right amount of salt. I kept thinking about it after I left. Cozy spot, though the tables are a bit close together. Wine list is solid too. Would come back just for that dish.

The pork knuckle was the real deal. Crispy skin, tender inside, and the mustard cut through the fat just right. Had it with a cold beer, didn't need anything else. Portion's generous too. Place gets busy around six, but I didn't care. Just here for the food.

The tortas are the reason to come here. Big, messy, packed with flavor. Had the al pastor one and the meat was properly juicy, not dry at all. Tacos are solid too, though the tortas are clearly the star. Portions could be bigger for what you pay, but the taste makes up for it.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. The interior is modern and bright, really comfortable to just sit and relax. Staff were friendly without being pushy. Coffee was decent, nothing extraordinary but fine for the price. A bit noisy when it got busier, but that's expected. Pretty good spot overall for a casual drink.

Stopped by for a coffee and a sandwich—the bread was fresh, and the veggies inside actually tasted like they were cut that morning. That matters to me. Prices felt okay for Bern. Only downside: it got crowded around noon, so I had to squeeze past people to sit down. Still, a decent little place for a quick bite.

The fried rice and chicken satay were solid, though the spring rolls were a bit plain. Place was full of Asian diners, which I always take as a good sign.

The terrace really is something—right on the river, you can just sit there and watch the water. Pizza was solid, crispy crust, decent toppings. Lunch specials looked good too, though I stuck with the pizza. Service was fine, no complaints. Place has a nice relaxed feel, not too touristy. Wouldn't mind coming back for a longer meal next time.

Great spot right by the station, love the covered terrace. Bagels are good but 10-15 CHF without sides feels a bit much. Service gets slow when it's packed, which is pretty much always 😅

The barista walked me through their roastery setup—pretty cool touch. Coffee was solid, ended up chilling way longer than I meant to.

The grilled fish was cooked perfectly—crispy skin, flaky inside. Service kept refilling our water without hovering. Simple spot, but they know what they're doing.

Came here with a couple of friends last week and honestly the fruit tart was the star 🍓 so fresh and light. Cheesecake was solid too. The chocolate croissant was a little dry but whatever, we still finished it. Prices felt fair for what you get. Nice spot if you just wanna sit and chat for a bit.

The fondue was properly rich and the portion worked well for two. Cozy spot with that classic Swiss feel. Service friendly too.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Place looks really nice, and the plating was on point. Got the duck, cooked well. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I’d sit outside again. Solid spot if you’re in the area.

Right by the station, super handy. Had the spicy beef ramen, broth was solid. Place is clean and modern. Staff were nice too.

Been coming here for years and it still holds up. The seasonal menu with local stuff is always a win. Hosts actually remember you, which is kinda rare. Solid pick for a chill night out. 😊

The play area kept our little one busy while we enjoyed breakfast. Staff even brought extra cookies with our coffee, which was a nice touch. Food was fresh and well-prepared.

The set menu kept surprising me in a good way. Food was solid, though the whole theatrical presentation felt a bit much at times. Still, a fun pick for a night out.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the traditional Swiss platter. The chalet vibe inside is really cozy, food was solid and filling. Staff were nice, no complaints. Place gets busy around noon so maybe come a bit earlier if you want a quiet table.

The käseschnitte mit ei was pretty good, and sitting outside by the water made it a decent lunch stop. Family-run place, felt genuine. Just wish the service had been a bit quicker.

The lunch menu changes daily which keeps things interesting. Portions are decent for the price, and the greens tasted properly fresh. Service was friendly without hovering.

The Dimtu medium roast really stood out—rich and aromatic, more character than the house blend. Calm spot, easy to sit and sip for a while. Would've liked a wine list to match, but the coffee alone was worth the stop.

Stayed longer than we should’ve—staff didn’t rush us at all while we finished feeding the baby. Coffee was solid, food did the job. Honestly the service is what I’ll remember. Place wasn’t packed either, which helped.

Great food and the staff actually know their wine list. Picked a nice red to go with the pasta, worked well. Place was busy but we never felt rushed.

The cordon bleu was really good—crispy on the outside, cheesy inside. My friend got the cheeseburger and it looked solid too. Place is small and cozy, the kind of spot you just stumble into. Service was quick, no complaints. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but I'd come back if I'm in the area.
